I was back in Panama City for 10 days at the end of August. The rainy season is well named. When it rains it really rains!
I spent the time there with a woman I met last time during Carnaval. It was a diferent type of trip this time because of that. I did get to meet a lot of locals and ex pats. She showed me to some nice discos and bars that the locals frequent. One named Sahara was filled with beautiful women at 6:00 am.
My traveling buddy made up for my lack of clubbing though. Unfortunately his camera battery was lost and we couldn't find one.
He did a two chica take out from Elite II for three hours ($150) and didn't have to pay a bar fine. Ladies drinks were $15 and he had to buy at least 4 each. I don't know if that is a new policy or if he got lucky with the bar fine.
He also had a pair of stunners from Club Miami for a similiar price.
Golden time was as good as advertised. $90 (by cab).
I stayed at Hotel California again. They have made some changes though. The hotel is now non smoking and there are signs in the rooms that say no lady guests. I had a double person room for my friend and I and there was no problem. They are in the process of adding a weight room and hot tub on the roof. Possibly trying for a more touresty clientel.
I did much better with the cabs this time. Typical fares were 1.25 to 1.75 for two people. We did have to pay $5 for three to the causeway.
All in all it was another great trip to central america.

Mark -
I like to stay at Hotel California (HC) too. Very good hotel for the price.
Normally I only allow my novia in the hotel room that I sleep in...I do other chicas at short-time hotel rooms (push buttons) or in the massage parlors or sex clubs.
This way the staff at the hotel where I sleep see the same chica over and over and they assume I'm a nice guy who's in love with just one girl. In their eyes, "respectable"...I don't appear to be a whore monger.
But hearing that they are now posting signs in the rooms...that is new. I hope this does not catch on at other "short-time" hotels. We don't need the cheap hotels in PC to become dens of morality!
Glad you enjoyed your trip.
