If it's Costa Rica you're interested in, go to the Costa Rica section, drill down to the sections on clubs/bars, and start reading. There's LOTS of info already posted on what's available, where it's at, what's good, what's bad, etc. Good info on getting there, where to stay, etc as well. You might also want to read some Trip Reports, to see what types of experiences others have had in your chosen destination.
