In San Jose, Costa Rica, I went to a Strip Joint called "OLYMPUS", this club is kind of seedy, drinks are somehow expensive around $10.00, some of the women ask you for a drink, they drink half of it and then ask for another one.

The club has rooms in the back to take the women and have sex with them. They can also go the beach with the customers. The women are so so and can ripp you off too. I do not think I will go back to this place.

A couple of friends just came back from San Jose Costa Rica, they went to Olympus and got a girl by the name of ERIKA, took her to the beach (Quepos) for a week for $1,000.00 (one thousand dollars). The agreement was that she would spend one full week (seven nights)with them. After the fourth night, she said she had to step out to the nearest store.....she never came back.......my friends went back to Olympus and found her working one evening. ERIKA claimed that she never agreed on spending seven nights with them for $1,000.00 USD......she said that only spends four nights for that kind of money.........

Mr. HC1, according to my friends the verbal agreement was done with the OLYMPUS manager on duty that evening. ERIKA denied that. So, are you saying that they should have paid a certain percentage at the time of departure and the rest after coming back??...the clubs do not trust that deal unless you leave something to back up your word.....So, what rule or deal do you suggest they should have followed??. First of all, your friends made a huge mistake just going to Olympus. It and other strip joints in San Jose are overpriced scams. The mangament there is waiting for dumbass Gringos to show up and throw money away. The "word" of the manager of Olympus isn't worth a bucket of warm spit to me, but by all means if you feel he's honorable and trustworthy, you should go to Olympus and see for yourself. Just be sure to buy the dancers lots of drinks and to run a tab on your credit card. I'm sure you won't have any problems.

As for what your friends should have done, how about USING COMMON SENSE.

One can still find value in CR if you avoid the gringo gluch. My last weekend hop from PTY-SJO, I had a tica for 24 hours for about USD 100.

You're friends could have spent some time in a local bar. Spent about $20 on drinks talking to girls and got some non pros to go with them for free. Of course this would taken effort and knowledge of local customs\language.

At the very least them could have picked up a working girl from one of the cheaper spots (idem, eros, bar dandy, arte sauna, 747, vips 1, vips 2, la bella mansion, new fantasy, josalyns, tenations ect) and offered them about $300 or $350 for the week. Make the deal to pay them after each day. Most girls would love to get a chance to goto the beach and make a bit of cash at the same time.

There are plenty of gringos that are living down here that will help tourists if they are not making an ass out of themselves.

Generally lawyers don't get paid until services are rendered.

I wouldn't pay a prostitite for her services until the morning. Simple rule, agree to the terms up front, offer decent amount of money, but no payment until services completed. They all want to get paid as soon as possible, however that's a pile of shit.

The point is that its a buyers market for all-night or long-term deals. If you offer a reasonable price, but are strict on the payement terms, many girls will go for it, especially if they have seen your face before. There just isn't someone standing beside you offering the same thing.

These women generally aren't relaible and they require constant supervison, instruction and management. The threat of non-payment is enough to keep them disciplined and compliant to your sexual requirements.

I've been to a few places but nothing was as classy as Club Olympus in the capital of Costa Rica. This place was 1st class with the waiters dressed in tuxedos. It looked like the classy gentleman clubs in Las Vegas. The girls were "beautiful." They have one way mirrors all around the club that are actually private dance rooms. You can still check out the show (which are really good)while you get a couch dance. This is the best part: If you want to fuck one of the girls, you just call the fancy waiter and tell him which one you like. They take you into one of the private rooms, they bring you a drink, condoms and you get busy (still enjoying the stage show as you fuck too). The cost was $200 and you can even put it on a major credit card (that's right!). After everything was said and done, I went back to finish watching the shave pussy show when to my surprise, my same girl (I just did) comes back from back stage all packed ready to go. I didn't realize the $200 bucks was for the rest of the evening. I just had to have her back in the cab by 5am. We went to dinner, dancing and back to my hotel room for another round. It was heaven.
