did not like the taxi system here. seems to take a long time to actually get an empty taxi, then they might not want to drive you to the location you specify.

I ended up walking alot, be sure to study a map prior to going. you can walk to many places that are clustered in the same area. la bodeguita, elite2, veneto, oasis are all within walking distance.

Sometimes on trips I collect cell numbers of taxi drivers that seem to have a good attitude. If they speak English all the better. I tell them up front "I am here to fuck your women". Most drivers seem to appreciate my blunt honesty.

I have a few taxi friends that I can call when I am in town. They'll come pick me up and drop me off, or if I am in a bad area of town I'll hire them to be my Panamanian drinkin buddy/body guard.

One-time when visiting La Mayor in Chorillo (very bad area) I stepped out of the cab and two black dudes immediately started approaching me. I assume to ask for a handout and/or maybe kill me. My taxi driver ran around the front of his car and got in their faces pushing one guy back. I'm glad the guys backed-off because they looked damn mean.

My driver drank for free that night (4 or 5 beers perhaps) for about 3-hours or so visiting a couple bars that night (10-15 minutes of driving). Then when he dropped me & my newly acquired female friend at my hotel for the night I handed him $20. He nearly shit. He told me he had a blast. He drank for free, flirted with all kinds of pussy collecting a few cell numbers for himself, burned relatively little gas, got a boost to his ego (hanging & drinking with a gringo) and still pocketed $20. He had a good night and my risk was lowered once everyone saw I was in the company of a local.

Hey guys, I had a few quick questions if anyone could help me that would be awesome. I'm making my way down to Panama in a few weeks and I've never been there. I'm going with a friend of mine but hes main purpose of going down there is for real estate. Hes a bit older and he really isn't into the whole prostitute / whore scene. Unlike me where I rather pay anywhere from 30-100 for sex all night instead of having to spit game and end up paying 30-60 on a date and end with just a kiss. Anyhow, I'm staying at the Marriott in Panama City. I've been looking on these forums the past few days to try to get a feel for the city. I've never been there but like I said I'm interested in getting action on a daily basis. I'm not looking to spend a whole lot and I barely know Spanish. I'm visiting for about five days. If anyone can steer me in the right direction with some awesome women, the places to go, or with any general tips so I don't get ripped off I would appreciate it.
