Well, I had to spend a day in Belize city for a work related trip so I thought I would drop a quick report to tell fellow mongers that this place sucks serious ass. I was a bit curious as I'd heard some of the "famous" places in this city had reopened after being shut down such as Raul's Rose Garden. Also, I had not seen anything reported on this destination in a long time. I had the experience of being in San Salvador which is another destination not many had reported on and had a great time there. So I did not know what to expect.
The sleaze factor in this place is very high. Belize city is very underdeveloped with tons of poverty. The first cab drivers to offer to take me to Raul's also asked if I wanted to buy coke or a gun. I found another guy that looked more legit but said the price was going to be $40 US to take me there and back. I was able to talk him down to $30. Raul's is a bit out of the city but when we pulled up, right away I knew it was not going to be pretty. I was glad it was daylight still as this place just has the apprearance of being a real shithole. It was like we were pulling up to an abandoned warehouse. I got out and followed the cab driver as he guided me through these dark hallways of open doors. Inside the doors, in the rooms, were just the nastiest women. I swear one even had a bit of a mustache. I would highly not recommend Belize City as a mongering destination or a destination in general for that matter. Even though I was only there a day and went to one spot it was apparent that it was all the city had to offer. The cab driver also told me that Raul's and one other spot are the only places available for mongering and that Rauls is the better of the two.
Of course it might have something to do with my last trip before that being MDE. Looking forward to going back to MDE for more of those gorgeous Colombianas...que lindas!!

I worked in Belize for 7 months in 1989, what a dump of a Country, sounds like it hasn't changed.

What I've been told about Belize is that it's a great place to go diving and is real quiet, so if you want pussy bring it with you.

Also, isn't the tallest building in the country like 5 stories? I had dinner in Mexico City last year with a reseller from Belize, and he says it's pretty quiet there. Very strange having a mestizo Indian/white guy speaking English with a Jamaican-like accent.

Catocony, the ordinary girls in Belize are very easy to pick up, in fact they are the easiest girls I have ever come across.

The diving and eco tourism are also good.

BUT the Country as as a whole is a dump.

the best action is heading towards Guatemala _Peten there are a few nice towns in the highlands that has the nice mix of latin and black girls - thank god these towns have casa's and the girls are all latin - the weather is much nicer ( cooler) than the coast. Belize is not for me too many euro princess that all need a good hard one in the ass,
