Anybody ever participate in or know anything about TLC Worldwide? I've reviewed their website at www.tlcworldwide.com

I think TLC stands for "The Love Connection" or something similar. They tout that they are a group who arrange organized vacations so that (supposedly) single US men can meet foreign (supposedly) single women.

Men who subscribe for a fee throughout the year...I believe a couple hundred bucks or so... can gain access to booklets or a website with photos and bios of subscribing Women in popular mongering destinations (The women probably pay only a small fee to post their pics and bio). Though personal contact info (I believe) cannot be shared, men and women can communicate prior to an organized trip/visit through the website...to get to know one another.

Then TLC offers their subscribers an opportunity to particiapte in an organized trip to what appears to be many of our popular mongering destinations. Subscribers pay a $995 fee to particiapte in the organized trip, however, they must also pay all of their travel and lodgings costs. It seems all they really get for the $995 fee is an invite to all of the parties and get togethers throughout the week at the designated hotel...however, some of the photos of these parties posted on the website indicate a lot of women show-up. Obviously, the women that posted their pic and bios on the TLC website get an invite to all the parties, plus extra invitations so that they can bring along their girlfriends (I am told). Supposedly a couple hundred women may show up in comparision to only 20 or 30 subscribing men who paid the $995 fee.

This might be a good deal for a wannabee mongerer who has never been to a foreign mongering destination. This way the new guy could hook-up with other newbees without going it all alone. Yet, for a seasoned mongerer...$995 for an invitation to a party everynight for a week may, or may not be worth it when clubs, discos, MPs can be accessed for nearly free. On the otherhand, if there are superior numbers of women for every man at the daily/nightly parties...there may be some value there?

Anyway, TLC is in Panama this week (3-8 August). I am curious if any club members have ever used TLC or know any first-hand experience whether it was worthwhile or if it is not as good as TLC makes it seem on their website.

If you want to marry a latina, get on a plane and find a marriage broker in the country of your choice.

Better yet, just go to a country. On your own you should be able to meet people. It is really not that hard.

Looks kind of fun! I agree that you could have fun on your own but having it all right in one place cuts down on the hunting around.

I'm not sure if the TLC chicas in Panama are all Panamanian or Colombian. But Panama always has a huge population of Colombinas at all the discos. They hang in packs of 3-5 chicas...they all share the same apartment (typically) while they are whoring in Panama. Then when their Visa expires, they go home and the next group of Colombinas head to Panama to move into the same apartment...they even swap-out cell phones. If you get one Colombina's cell phone...a few months later a different chica answers.

However, my novia was contacted by her girlfriend who had 3 or 4 invitations to the TLC event at one of the big hotels in Panama this week. She told me that her friend wanted her to go and she wanted to know if I would have a problem if she went? Hence, why I am inquiring about TLC. (I told her what I thought it was all about...she told me she wouldn't attend...but I think she might have anyway...single good looking women always have extra men waiting in the wings).

My assumption is that a majority of these TLC guys are whore mongerers or wannabe whore mongerers...at any rate...they are after chicas. My assumption is too that they get laid one way or another...yes, perhaps many of the TLC chicas are not pros...but they all know how to fuck. Given that they flock to where they can meet single gringo men...they are desperate for a ticket to a better life...will they all compromise themselves to the TLC men? Probably not all, but I bet many do. If they all don't...then the $995 TLC event would be a waste.

It is a waste. A friend of mine did it last year and loved it- met the "woman of his dreams." They engaged immediately and he planned to bring her to the US. I listened to all his hype and saw all the photos he took of the parties, etc., and he also made friends with half the other gringos looking for wives. Long story short (you know how it ends)-- he sent money in prep for the trip and in the end she broke it off due to new set of problems (such as the 3 kids she did not tell him about). My friend is not very attractive and has minimal "game." That's why he loved the TLC parties (he actually went 2 times). I got the sense all other men were identically situated. None were looking for P4P- they were serious relationship hunters. Anybody looking for P4P knows, with a little research, that you don't need to hang at the TLC parties for it.

Also, pics of the girls were not good. Girls advertised by TLC in the brochure, I beleive, were decoys to lure customers. 1 or 2 lookers did show at the parties, but ralphed down the free food and split after the pictures were taken. My opinion: Scam.

They are playing upon the vulnerablities of men in need of companionship. The girls that are seriously there to meet a gringo for marriage --you don't need to pay to meet them-- they looked pretty gross, even my friend's chica was a dumpy 30 year old. But even she knew how to scam a guy with low self esteem.

Also- most girls at the Panama parties were, in fact, from Colombia and Venezuela, according to my friend. Still, I saw the pics and the girls were butt ugly for the most part.

AJ, these things are mostly scams in any venue, no matter the country. A great looking semi-pro that fucks who she picks on what weeks they decide to visit her from the states is far better off financially NOT getting married, and not going to parties like this.

IHMO about Panama, and Panamanian "novia/semi-pros," is that however sweet and caring they may seem, the bottom line is the main game. This is a business for them; a business of keeping a few, if not many a few, good looking and successful gringos (with game as it has been said here) and with CASH, an the line as possible. John from Texas at the beginning of May, Billy from Florida at the end of May, Joey from the Bronx in June, Brian from Chicago in July............the real lookers in Panama always play this way, and for the most part it works for us since most of us have lives elsewhere that we don't want the chicas to know about.

I agree; parties like there are scams and set up as an all to easy fantasy. If you are going to play these chicas, then learn how to play them (and know that they play you). Hey, its all a fucking game! Enjoy it while you can.

I think for any serious relationship you are going to have to live there. There are a few you can get away with a long term relationship, but they won't be met at these parties.

Yeah, there really is no way to have a truly "meaningful" relationship when you visit down-range only a few times a year. I've changed my "normal" vacation window from 2-weeks every 12-months to 3-weeks every 9-months. Now I'll probably sneak back again this fall (6-months since I was last there and stay perhaps a couple weeks)...I'm already looking for a window of opportunity to juggle work, make an excuse with the wife, and slip-off to my favorite adult Disney World again.

Still, my novia and I keep carrying on as if we have a future. Though I've never given her any cash for sex, I think she sees me as a "prime" ticket (playing me) to a better life...so she hangs on to me "long-distance" through telephone and e-mail.

Yet, when she tells me about being invited to TLC, or she tells me she is going to visit the Internet Cafe on or around via Venetto (a favorite hooker hang-out location in PC)...then her cell phone is conveniently "off-line for 3 or 4 hours" while she "checks" her e-mail there, indicates to me that she could be moonlighting...of course, looking for a "better" deal.

She's hot enough that it wouldn't surprise me if she has a Panamanian "stud" boyfriend, a few (old) married local gringo "regulars" on-the-side for stable pocket-money, eyes wide-open for a passing tourist or two...then with a few long-distance relationships with guys like me in the US...all for that shot at cashing-in a stateside ticket...her odds of winning one-time are probably pretty good.

If she is playing me like this, well, I deserve it, cause I'm playing her assuming she is playing me (if that makes sense?). And right now I have no idea what the future will bring...but, I can hardly wait to fuck her again.

I've been doing this now with her for over 2-years...when will she tire of me? She can't get me to commit...but I let her think eventually she can change my mind...so, the game continues.

Thinking that she does not have anyone else at this point is beyond naive IMHO. But as usual it seems like you are okay with it all, and as you say, "it continues!" Let it continue until it ends I suppose. I have a feeling though that eventually she is going to give you the boot for the BBD gringo who will finally marry her/pay for her
/adopt her family and kids/pay for all of them as well.....................................NEXT!............
