Does anyone have good-hunting stories/advice about Venetos, the new casino in Panama City. Last time I was there I checked it out and it may have been an "OFF" week. There wasn't much there to write home about. I hear sometimes the place is crawling with talent but I have yet to experience this.

I was there on a Friday night and it was less crowded than the El Panama casino. The Venato layout was good - casino upstairs, bar and lounge area downstairs. Grabbing a beer and sitting downstairs would be a safe way to let any working girls know to stop by for an intro, but it would be as obvious as the proverbial cockroach on a white floor when the lights turn on.

The bar area upstairs seemed kinda loud to me, so not sure if that's a good place to conduct an interview. As far as mingling around, since it's a mix of putas and non-putas and they are all dressed basically alike, I would be inclined to set up shop at one of the bars or in the lounge and let the girls come to you.

Thanks Cat: Just so I'm not waisting valuable mongering time, what is the best time to set up shop there for a while? After midnight?

I wouldn't wait too late...IMHO most hook-ups in Panama happen just after dark...maybe 8 or 9PM. If you wait until after midnight you'll get the chicas that were either passed-over or you might get a chica coming back for seconds/thirds with seed of some other guy still dripping out of her.

Don't know about the Cuba Libres there, I only order those when my ole faithful isnt available (crown and coke).

On a side note, and I know this has been said before, but while Habano's is still a great cigar bar the chicas are starting to expect $100+++ per noche which is simply silly, June - Nov 2005 (i.e., recently) they were $40-50 per noche, $25 short time. When I was there this year in June, I ran into a number of newer guys who were smoking and bragging about the great prices they were paying (i.e., throwing money around driving prices up). To prove the point when he pointed to a girl he had been with the night before for $150 and he was VERY proud that NOCHE was only that, I made it a point, with him still in earshot, to ask her if she would be my date that noche for $50 and she said no, $100. I told her to cut the crap and she started laughing and said "si papi". The key may be that I spoke to her in poor Spanish and am overweight, while the other guy was tall, thin, and younger. Grin.

His reply? The girls had told him the night before that $100 per hour was standard and that he had gotten a special deal. Yeah, I remember getting deals like that a year ago when I started. So I introduced the 3 guys to CH, one of which said he read the boards all the time...

Same problem the world over. Guys who know no better overpay dramatically and the working girls start to think all gringos are equally stupid about the local situation.

I am in PTY right now and you couldn't be any clearer about that overcharging point. AJ, the cigar bar is tops, and they are for the most part all GREAT looking! But they are still skanky whores with the skanky whore mentality.

The Veneto has been off and on lately. I just returned home yesterday. At the beginning of my stay the Veneto was its usual good stufff. Chicas all over the bar area and at the penny slots. Then the next night empty!

Checked with several sources and found out that they were only letting Panamanians and Colombianas with resident visas. Then on Saturday they openend it back up again. Not sure for the reasons, heard a lot of stories. But similar things have happened before.

Habanos was jumping during the trip. I think some of this was due to the Veneto incident. Remember that these are the same girls who move around the various casinos, the streets and Casinos.

Thanks Llatina. I am hoping Kahuna Bill is correct and that things will pick up here around the weekend. Its pretty light around Panama City. It could be because of a recent crack-down that I heard about from a friend as well; this one was just a month ago and it happened in the Cigar Bar. Police raided the place and arrested all the illegal girls for deportation. That's enough to scare away others....could be part of the problem.

The incident at Veneto that I was referring to was the tightening up of the restrictions on girls coming in. This pushed a lot of them elsewhere, like Habanos.

Latina - I would say the girls at Habanos may not all be of the highest quality, but with some effort and diligence, myself and 3 friends all pulled GFE types out of there. This may have been a result of Veneto girls hanging out there.

Really? I would tend to think that it would have to be like you said, as a result of Veneto girls having no where to go.

Am hangin at Venetos daily, it has been slow except for yesterday.....the place was rockin, there was a big football game, many hotties lookin but the guys were stuck on the game....

Unlike most here, the Columbian girls are not my favorites. Might be good eye candie but there attitude turns me off.....this opinion may change.

Word on the street is the cops raided the Venetto last night and carted away about 20 illegal Colombians. Things might be slow there for a little while over the next couple of weeks. If you're in Panama, might have better luck elsewhere. LifeGirls is going thru an overhaul. Met the owner randomly at Habanos one night. Might be worth checking out. If I make it there, I'll pass along the info.

I was in the cigar bar (Habanos) in March 07. Lots of Colombians working but very few men. I was wondering about the waitresses. Do they work after closing? There was a waitress there that spoke pretty good english but I didn't get a chance to ask her.

Veneto's is a high end Wyndham property and nothing like the Blue Marlin from what I've read. Yes, you can take women up to your room with no problems. Lot's of talent there but I haven't pursued any pros there. I did meet a nice 18 y.o. working at Hooters on my last trip and she said to meet her at the Fiesta Casino (directly behind Veneto's) after work. Showed up about 3 hours late, hung out for a while and didnt't see her so went over to Veneto's. Walked right past her (she looked even better in regular clothes with tits all pushed up and out) and on the way back she jumps up and runs up and gives me a big hug.

It turned out she'd been at the Fiesta drinking and met the girl she was now with and was now totally trashed. It wasn't long before she disappeared when saying hi to a friend. Anyway I got hew friend Vanessa's number and took her out to dinner etc. the night after next. She was a real spinner and one of the best and most passionate women I've ever been with. Was a cook working for a Jewish family in Punta Paitilla 6 days a week for $400 a month and was off that week as they were on vacation. Yep Elim, She was Colombian, hanging out at the Veneto Casino, and took Thick's last $300. Thick, you were indeed pursuing a pro.

I was in Veneto last night and did not find the obvious cluster of girls. As I walked around I noticed many single young girls sitting alone at the slots and slowly playing as they looked around. I found one that was very hot and walked by. She smiled and I said hello. Not much english but we communicated and in 5 minutes we were in a cab and headed to my rental condo. She asked for $100 and I chose not to ruin the mood and offer less. She was fun and playful and gave me all I wanted.

It was easy and fun. When were were finished my friend asked for some and off to her room they went.

When I was at the Veneto last year I noticed the same thing, that there wasn't any big group of girls or an "obvious" scene of pros. I went there around the Holidays so that might have been why it was slow. Also I noticed like most places that nothing even started to pop off until Midnight.

It was definitley not like the Del Rey thats for sure, but I liked it a little more because there was more of a hunt involved instead of turning 4 inches in any direction and having a girl hiss at you or try to prop you.

I stayed at the Las Vegas Suites kitty corner from the Veneto which was convienient once I did find something.

One of the girls I hooked up with had Butt Cheek Implants which was a definite first for me.

Elite has IMHO arguably some of the hottest girls in CA. If it wasn't for the $200 exit fee I would have have played in that pen the whole time I was there. That, and the $15 they charged me for 1 drink kinda turned me off a bit..
