Excerpt from 2001/08 Excat - San Salvador: Lips, Not Just for Kissing

THE BEST (formerly known as HOT), Escalon #4346, on the corner of 85th Ave. Sur, and on the same block as the Ramada Hotel. A club-bar with strippers (continuous on the weekend evenings), charged C30/admission and C15/beer, and advertised 20 beautiful girls. The first stage square-shaped was set in a pit with bar stools all around and the second stage oval-shaped had a stripper performing when the place was packed with customers. One has to smooth-talk a girl for a date after the club closes at 3am. Most girls did not go out with the customers. I struck out, but I still recommend it for hanging out. Coming out of The Best, go left and up the Escalon to head towards Titanic.

Can anyone confirm this address? I sloppily wrote down #4854, but I may have misread the "3" as an "8". Also, I actually approximated the address from the business next door as I didn't have a pen at the exact time passing by and I was in a rush.

Another thing, coming out of The Best and going left/East takes you downhill. I looked carefully but never saw Titanic on Escalon and the posted address has it on a different street. Right/West up the hill will take you to Lips just before the Masferrar traffic circle.

I never did make it in here. The place looked dead and I had enough problems pulling from Lips so I ended up skipping this place. Still, I listed it on my map. The address may be wrong but the approximate location is correct.
