Either I didn't know the places to go or I just pick a bad time to visit...outside of the Del Ray there was nothing to do and I am not much of a fisherman...

There are too many guides in mongering locations on CH. Did you research any locations before you took the trip? Where did you go wrong?

There are two camps on CR, just depends on which one you are in.

Personally, I agree with Cooliageboi, nothing comes close to Rio. There are a lot of other good places, but nothing like Brasil IMHO....

(BTY, Peru beats CR all to hell, and the prices can't be beat anywhere: I had a cute session with an 18yr old for 10soles($3.25), I challange anyone here to pay less! The "standard" is set.

Copperfield, you should be careful to throw down such challenges. I believe Sancho got a few $2 and $3 sessions in Cambodia. The best I ever did was $4, so you have me beat by 75 cents.

Alright, I'll meet the challenge and relate I paid 30 Chinese Yuan (a shade under $4) for a session at the Catacombs in Chang Ping, China about a year ago.

Also, back when the real was worth around 30 cents, I did a couple of R$10 sessions in Rio although ruined most such sessions (statistically) through my big-spending ways: chose to make them 30-minute rather than ten-minute sessions (thereby costing almost $10 rather than $3)

CFK, you should do a TR on Peru. There is not a lot of info on the site, and I remember you had a great time with that cop! $3 for an 18 yo, where the hell was that? The other guys are talking about SEA, Peru is a helluva lot easier to get to. Long flights are so damn boring

I walked thru the catacombs in daylight. If you can get off with an open door to the alley and street toughs at your back, well, in the words of the Yardbirds, mister you're a better man than I.

In my case, the door was closed; if there were street toughs they weren't conspicuous when I was there, which was perhaps around 1 p.m. This is not to say I recommend the place; only that I achieved close to a personal best in terms of lowest price paid for pussy.

look under Peru, Huanchaco report, that's where some of the info on the cheap places there is located. (casa Roas 20soles/$7USD, Patio 10soles/$3.25, The Colonial 15soles/$5USD. These are all located in Huanchaco/Truhillo areas, north of Lima about 400 miles (1hr air).

At LC it's 20 sole ent fee wjich inc 1 drink (basically$6.50) the girls before 5pm(shift change!) are 30 soles or $13USD for 1/2 hr. After that it goes to 40soles ($16.50)

There are also local ads which run offering 1/2 for 50soles(17USD) to 1hr for 100soles(33.50)etc, plenty of cheap fun, believe me. OK, to answer the obvious question: yes you can find/get cute goodlooking girls for these prices. If it's not at least an 8 (I am a tough grader) I dont mess with it!

I recently returned from a trip to CR. My last trip was June 2006. This could be my last trip ever! Ugly girls at the Del Rey asking way too much $$$. My last night there I had a rather unpleasant incident in which a Tica threatened to stab me if she ever saw me in downtown SJO. Had to have her removed by security at the Marriott. I just want to add that I have been to CR over 25 times and never had anything like this happen to me. The good part about the incident was that it was my last night there and I was on an early flight out the next day. Needless to say I was looking over my shoulder when I exited the van and entered the airport!

Please elaborate DT, im sure it was a fee dispute or time dispute.

DT are you sure it was a Tica? I've never known a tica to be that violent. It upsets me to see CR turn into this. It is extremly difficult to explain to someone visiting CR for the first time how it was back in the early 90's. I guess the old saying is true, you can't go home again.

My incident was quite disappointing. She said that she was Costa Rican, (her id of which I have a copy confirms that she is a Tica). I too was surprised that this happened with a Tica. If you told me that she was Columbian, it would have been more believable! Anyway I picked her up at the Key Largo and my two buddies also took home some of her friends (which I later learned were not really her friends just people that she knew to some extent). We went back to my room at the Marriott and she removed all but her bra and panties. At this point, I was still fully clothed. We started negotiating money and she asked for something ridiculous, like $250. I went down to like $100 and then $125. The negotiating went on for a while and I just got fed up and told her to forget it. She then started to get loud and I told her to leave. She then said that she wanted to be paid. I then handed her $20 for a cab. This made her angrier. She said that she wanted more money. I reminded her that my clothes were still on, we had not done anything but argue about money and that she needed to leave. Once again, she got crazier. I called my buddy next door to help de-escalate the situation. His intervention was to no avail. When this girl still refused to leave, I then had no choice but to call security. It was when security escorted her out of my room that she made the threats about stabbing me and killing me, etc. This girl was CRAZY! Her so called friends later informed me that this girl is fond of coke and was loaded that night. After security came back to my room about 15 minutes later to inform me that I should take this girl's threats seriously and not walk around downtown by myself, I asked him for a copy of her Cedula (id) that they copied at the front desk when we checked in. For those that are reading this, take note - her cedula reads Sharoon Yajahira Loaiciga Ardon. Sounds like some kind of toxic drink! She is 20, blond, cute, really curly hair.

Even though I will never place one foot of mine in "GRINGO HAVEN" C.R. I always negotiate prior to bringing any ho's back to the room, just to avoid this kind of B.S. Your very lucky she didnt carry a weapon, steal something or break something. I know some people like to play the casanova part and fantasy part, where you think, WOW this girl really likes me and taling about money would just ruin the vibe.. F-that.. that will avoid all the hoopla and drama AND MOST IMPORTANTLY DEATH THREATS!

I concur, always negotiate up-front with girls you don't know. Price, services, duration, venue, everything.
