Travelled to Managua, Nicaragua recently on business and wasn't expecting much, but boy was I surprized! Nicaragua doesn't have the reputation of a Costa Rica and is much poorer and underdeveloped, but the "chicas" are every bit as rewarding as I found out.

There are a limited number of fairly decent adult clubs scattered around the city, but most are found off the Masaya Highway. These clubs offer the full range of services and many have rooms to rent at the back of the club but in my opinion are overpriced and targetted at exploiting the visitor. Don't get me wrong, a $5 cover charge and $3 beers aren't pricey, but once you pick out a girl and "negotiate" with the mangagement for a date, especially if you want to take her back to your room, you can be looking at over $100. Not bad by US standards, but way too expensive for local standards.

The street scene along the Masaya Highway is where the real action is. And at very affordable prices--$25-30 full service. The chicas start lining up all along the road about 9PM and many work well after midnight. You just cruise up and down the road in your cab, pulling over to talk with whatever looks interesting. It is like an incredible sex buffet! Most of the girls are just locals trying to pick up some extra money and aren't pros so you can get the real Latina girlfriend experience. Yeah, I saw what looked like several wornout whores, but most were just the average girl next door type with some real stunners. It took me a couple of weeks to figure it out, but once I notice the same girls working the same area and the same night I got a hang for their "schedule" and where the better girls hung out. Got up the nerve to ask the cab driver to pull over to a pair of about 22 year-olds in tight jeans with short skintight shirts. Smiled and we had a little chat, very sweet and sexy as hell. With the help of the cab driver found out the one I liked most was asking less than $20 for a hour of full service. Couldn't believe it and had to ask several times to make sure. I won't go into details, but she was everything, and more, that one could want! To think that I had wasted time on the clubs. My remaining time in Managua was spent with this girl and some of her friends ;)and at times I practically had to force money into her hand. Parting was truly such sweet sorrow, but I can't wait to go back again. Bottom line is take your time and scope out the street scene. Avoid the areas too far off the main drag (and around the Mexican Embassy near the Dominos is where the TVs work), but identify girls that look interesting and then go for. Good luck.

We paid $60 night at the kings palace with a pool and great rooms with fridge next to a strip club and across from the TGIF bar/restaurant. We looked at the $25/nite Los Felipe and it was horrible. Managua is another country compared to the rest of nicaragua. It is grossly expensive, dangerous, and so crowded you can't move in some bars. Street girls take it as part of their job description to steal from you or extort money from you so make the rate clear and never take your eyes off your wallet. Fantasy auto hotel for $15 has a round bed, piped in music, pornos on a big screen, and a dumb waiter where you order mixed drinks, beer. food, etc. We took 3 hookers there and had the time of our lives there practically for $300. Managua doesn't hold a candle to San Jose, Guatemala city or Panama City but Nicaragua has great non-hooker ladys, fishing and surfing. Always settle a price for the taxi before you get in, half of those drivers are criminal.
