Why not? I respect your opinion alot Alec but please don't give the obvious one of saying that you can get better for cheaper, I know that already having been in PTY a couple dozen times over the last couple years.

I am curious about the place and this is the place to ask.

Actually, I could be completely wrong as I have never set foot in this place. I only looked at their website and I was not overly impressed.

However, in my earlier days I spent a lot of time (perhaps too much time) in strip clubs around the world (in Panama) and in many US cities...most are rather lame and/or a literal rip-off...but fun can be if you are there with a bunch of friends just kicking it up. But, if you are alone in Panama on a mongering vacation...I would avoid the strip clubs and the hustle or shake-down that typically happens there.

IMHO, a better time would be had by going to a regular bar/restaurant where there is a good size crowd, maybe some live music, and reasonably priced drinks. IMHO your odds of meeting a truly interesting chica in a regular bar are greater than the typical "rehearsed" carnival show stripper you'll meet in a strip club...also too often I've met strippers that just aren't right in the head...they are a little off, odd or just plain weird.

But, this is just my opinion. You can meet up with oddballs and get ripped-off almost anywhere in Panama...but I think the odds are even greater in a strip club.

If this does not convince you...then go ahead and check out the strip clubs...then come back and give us your reviews...then go to a regular bar...like Sahara's on a Friday or Saturday night...for the cash outlay and entertainment value...I think the regular club will come-out on top.

Given my experience...the safer bet is to avoid the strip club. Go to a regular club...and if you strike-out...follow-up at a MP for a sure thing. You'll keep more money in your wallet and still have a damn good time.

Thanks, that was the sort of insightful answer that makes this website worth visiting. I agree that Strib Clubs can be a real waste, but I guess I was hoping this one had a special story (being in PTY and all). Actually changing the conversation - I am also interested in the semi and non pro scene but have never stepped out yet. Where else besides Sahara, I am looking forward to trying that scene out on my next trip this spring.

Strip clubs overseas, I find to be nothing but about hustling you of your money. Not that US clubs are not, but not being immediately identified as a Gringo from out of town, they will also think of developing you as a regular customer, in other words don't break the ATM the first night.
