I'vc visited the Rose Garden, along the main road just outside the airport in Belize City, on numerous trips.
The Rose Garden is a bar with a brothel in the back. The girls are a mostly Salvadorians, Guatamalans, Hondurans and occasionally Mexican. Prices usually start at about $30 and go up from there....you should be able to get just about everything you could want for under $100. The girls approach and ask you if you want company...just tell them "Maybe later" until the one you want approaches.
Usually she will take you back to her room (a dark hallway back thru the honeycomb of rooms can be a little intimidating)where you will negotiate. If you can't come to agreement, she will lead you back to the bar and you can try another girl.
Always had great service. Be sure to tell the girl that you will be in town for a while and you hope to find a special girl...they like repeat business and will try harder I think. Good hunting!

I was at the Rose Garden in October 2003. Some of the girls are great! I had a Columbian dish for the whole night -- took her back to my hotel for US$100.
Tips:
1. There are a lot of mosquitos at Rose Garden, so put on you bug spray!
2. I recommend getting a taxi from town and keeping him there for the round trip. It can take a long time to get a taxi otherwise.
3. I stayed at the Ramada Renaissance. The hotel was ok, but they gave me hell when I brought the girl back for me. Eventually they let me take her to my room after billing my room an additional US$20 (for the second person).
4. I recommend staying at the Princess Hotel & Casino. Same rates, but much better food & facilities, and no girl-friendly too!

When I was living in Belize for 7 months in 1989 I used to visit the Rose Garden when I was in Belize City and had the spare time.
Where I first went with a Latin girl.

I have been to the rose garden on two separate occasions while on diving trips in Belize. The first time I went I managed to join up with an American guy, Dave, who had been living in Belize for several years. I met him at a bar called the Manatee Lookout which is a couple hundred yards down the road from the Rose Garden. The bar is a good place to "shoot the shit" with expats and British soldiers who know the ins and outs of Belize. Anyway, Dave took me to the Rose Garden and introduced me to one of his favorites, a stunning Latina who was a solid 9. She was eager and willing for the night and was very appreciative of the $30 tip I gave her on top of the usual $100 regular fee.
The Rose Garden itself is a shit hole (as a matter of fact, Belize City is as well), and I don't know how well I would have faired without the help of Dave, but the beer was cold and there was some nice talent. I ended up there again on my next dive trip. I'll save that story for a trip report...

Hello Ricopuno, I was just wondering what other destinations in Belize are worth enjoying? Certainly there is more than one place to Monger in Belize? I am thinking of going there because its close and its new. Since I like adventure I thought perhaps this would be a good place? Any additional info you could share would be great. Also how is the diving for someone whom has only about 7 dives under his belt? What are the prices like? Thanks in advance
