LACSA offering RT tickets from LAX to COSTA RICA-SJO thru travelocity for $536. the lowest fare. any reliability problems w/ this airline or any better deals out there. my first time in Costa Rica. Thanks in advance

Check out the website of Taca (www.taca.com)--an airline conglomerate including LACSA. They now have a direct flight from Chicago (red-eye special departs Chicago at 2:50am arrives SJO 8:40am, making one stop in Guatemala City). They have from time to time fabulous "e-specials" on their website (for example, I'm going in May for 4 days at a r.t. fare from Chicago for $293, all taxes included). Become a member of Grupo Taca and you can subscribe to their fare alerts by e-mail.
