Aeropuerto used to share the top spot with Centaurus. I spoke to a friend who is from Rio and he said that the most beautiful women only worked at Aeropuerto, but for the past ten years they have moved to Centaurus. It has something to do with proximity to where the girls live in relation to Aeropuerto and Copacabana and Impanema. The reason they worked at Aeropuerto was the terma's location near Centro and the government and bank offices. The customers are older guys who have alot of money and do not expect alot of sex.

Anyway, I like this terma although it is small and the facilities are cramped. The girls are really nice and by and large are as good as Centaurus in terms of looks. I found a girl here who was a spitting image of Anna Kournikova(sp?). She spoke no English but she could really fuck and enjoyed it. An absolute doll.
Check it out if you have the time. It is far from Copa, near the domestic airport, but a good place to spend some time. The price is comparable to Centaurus, maybe a bit cheaper but I really do not remember.

In November, I visited Aeroporto once. The selection of girls seemed to have improved from my previous trips.

I visited Aeroporto again this last trip and the talent was even better than in November. Well worth the trip and besides this termas opens at 12 . I believe that many of the girls start at 3 so that probably is a good time to go.

Better selection than Solarium??

I visited Solarium, Aeroporto, MC, Luomos, and Termas 65 on this trip. I wasn't really impressed with the overall talent at MC and Luomos on this trip. At Solarium, Aeroporto and Termas 65; I was really impressed with the lineups. I think that I'd rate Solarium and Termas 65 a notch higher than Aeroporto. The fact that Aeroporto was even in the same league as Solarium and Termas 65 was very surprising to me as in the past Aeroporto's selection has been somewhat lacking.

It probably comes as no surprise to YT that Aeroporto is my current fave. It really has a lot going for it. Linups that compare (and perhaps surpasses, imho) with 65 and Solarium, it opens early at 12pm and has a GREAT relaxation room. It's kinda like a seperate low-key meeting area where often as many or more of the girls congregate than in the boite.

Over the years, I have come to notice what WilmaFlint described in his trip report (and I paraphrase) as the 'tourist fuck'and the 'locals fuck'. I would like to think that I'm to savvy to be given the 'tourist fuck' but have noticed a certain reluctance in some of the garotas to give me (as a first-timer with them) everything I KNOW is on the menu.

This is just my theory, but Aeroporto sees very few tourist (mostly reserved for local, rich,older business men)so may not have this evil double-standard that may or may not be reality. The couple garotas I was with there came out of the box swinging for the fences and did not require coaxing or that get-to-know-you stage.

She never made it that night, but came over the following night, almost two hours late. She brought her girl friend, but the hotel would not allow two guests. So her friend left, and actually I would have preferred both of them to have left. These two would not make any heads turn by any means, and she looks totally different in the dark in Solarium than she does in the light. I guess that's what happens when you take the first one. Lesson learned.

The next day, I headed for Loumo, and made an acquaintance for this next week. I will introduce another friend of mine to Solarium, and caution him not to take the first one.

Here are some directions to Termas Aeroporto if you were taking the bus from Copacabana. Catch Central bus on Ave Nossa Copacabana. Bus takes a left onto Pricess Isabella & goes thru tunnel. Shortly thereafter bus ends up speeding along the coastal road (it is called Ave Infante Henrique here; not Atlantico like in Copacabana) for about 10 minutes or so. As the bus approaches downtown/Airport Santos Dumont, it gets off the expressway on Ave Beira Mar & goes local. You will pass Aeroporto immediately afer the bus exits the expressway. Termas Aeroporto is one the right side of the street and its address is #216 Ave Beira Mar.

Excellent description, the Gloria bus goes along Praia Do Flamengo while the Centro bus goes along parallel Ave Infante Dom Enrique along the coast.

If Aeroporto has a bad selection, turn around, grab a 5R cab and head to nearby Rio Antigo.

I think in all the smaller termas (Aeroporto, L'umos, MC, Rio Antigo, and even Solarium), it is easy to end up with a lot of different opinions of a place; a few hotties can a big difference. If one sees 3-5 hotties (out of 20-25 girls) in a small termas on a visit, it is easy to conclude that the place is great. If you come back the next day (or even later the same day), they might all be gone (with otra cliente, in a cabine, not currently working, have quit, or whatever). Our experiences are also tainted by the particular girl(s) that we end up with. Personally out of the 5 small termas that I've listed above, I've had good recent experiences at Aeroporto, Rio Antigo, and Solarium.

Goes to YMMV...I did wait 1 1/2 hour to ensure all girls cleared cabines...They were friendly there and I was very pleased with my selection but just am spoiled I suppose from solarium and Barbarellas selection.

On Day 7 of my trip report I trashed Aeroporto and found all the garotas to be subpar. I stand by the review, but I was recently told that Aeroporto was the very first Terma in Rio established in 1977. Luomo I think was the second coming a few years later.

If this is true, I think we hombres owe a BIG debt of gratitude to they guy who started Aeroporto and came up with the idea of a Terma. I have no idea who the guy was or if he's alive, but I think this guy is due a statue or memorial of some kind. The idea of the Terma is one of the greatest mongering ideas ever...Go inside, get a drink, massage, sauna, steam, shower, relax, pick which garota you like best in a bikini, bang her, repeat as necessary, pay when you leave. The relaxed atmosphere is the exact opposite of the majority of options in the US and the rest of the world.

Even though I thought Aeroporto had the worst selection on my trip, I have to say I am grateful to whomever opened it and started the Terma scene.

Termas Aeroporto (216-C Beira Mar Av.) is another highly regarded terma. After years of saying "this will be the time I go there" I finally did. I was surprised that Termas Aeroporto is as small as it is-just a bit larger than L'uomo or Solarium), but I was reasonably impressed by the quality of the girls, especially the set of twins! Like Centaurus, many seem to be college students, and I ran into several girls who spoke English quite well. Also like Centaurus, when you enter a girl is assigned to you to help you change into your robe and such. It is quite easy to get away from the girl, assuming you haven't fallen instantly in lust, by heading to the saunas and showers, which are very clean. An upstairs bar is where most of the mixing takes place, but there is also a "relax" room on the first floor where many of the girls hang out. Prices are Centaurus-like: $50 reais to enter and $200 reais for an hour in a suite. Unlike Centaurus, you pay when you leave, although you may be asked to pay the entrance fee upon arrival. I stopped by Aeroporto on a lark. When you get changed, a girl is assigned to you as a guide. Let her show you around, then hit the steam room if you’re not interested in her.

The locker room is small, but acceptable. The relax room is a bit of a joke as it’s equipped with plastic lounge chairs. However, plenty of folks lounge there, so to each their own. The shower facility is run down, but acceptable. Upstairs, the bar is actually quite nice. While the room is not large, it is well appointed and tasteful. The music was not too loud. There is no stage to speak off.

I saw only two rooms during my visit. One was very nice; the other was better than average. Both rooms were equipped with Jacuzzis. One had a TV showing a fussy porno film.

The Aeroporto girls wear lingerie. This is a novel change from bikinis, but stocking and bustiers can hide a multitude of evils. I arrived on a Monday afternoon and was severely disappointed with the selection of gals. They seemed to be in their late 20’s and early 30’s and not a stunner in the flock. I patiently stuck around and discovered the younger and prettier babes arrive later.

For downtown sanuking, I still put 4x4 and 65 well ahead of Aeroporto, but for a change in pace, you might consider it worthy of a visit. I would consider a repeat visit, but only in the evening.

I stopped by Aeroporto with a buddy last Friday. I love women in stockings/suspenders so I decided to give it a shot. Wombat88's description is pretty much still spot on except wrt the relax room.

For us it was the best part with long leopard print loungers to lie on. It is where most of the girls hang out and very, dare I say it, too comfy. I felt the problem was the mood in the whole place was languid, no girls dancing etc. There was no energy or spark to make you think this girl will be really hot when we get to the cabin.

The quality of garotas was okay (sub 4x4) if slightly older. Ratio wasn't great with lots of older Brasileiros in the upstairs bar. There were a couple of very cute younger morenas free at the end but we had decided to split at that stage.

Positives
- Polite garotas, no hard sell. Even asked if we wanted to be introduced to other girls when I said I liked morenas (she was blonde).
- Close to 4x4, 65 and Rio Antigo should you want to move on.

Negatives
- Silly bar design where you have to stoop down to see the barman.
- Poor quality caipirinhas.
- Shower and steam facilities just okay.
- Lots of garotas who smoke.
- Attitude from one girl who spoke English. She was pissed that we could understand her portuguese but she couldn't understand our (UK) English. She might need to rent "Lock, Stock and 2 Smoking Barrels" to rectify this.

At the end of the day a different Termas is always worth a look. If you don't like it do as we did and go to 4x4 afterwards. Total cost for the two termas was still only R250 incl. 1 hr suite at 4x4.

Good update. It has been a while since I have been there but did find it much as you describe. I always made it my first stop after arriving, on the way to the hotel from the airport. And my last stop, on the way out to the airport. The location is great for that. They would keep my suitcase (locked of course) behind the counter during my visit. Nice people. Also got a great massage there, upstairs, between garotas. Great way to freshen up after a long trip.

This termas doesn't seem to get much play among the Rio guys, but I really liked it. The selection both times I went was decent and I never had a problem finding an attractive girl to do there.

The facilities were nice and the chairs in the relax room were extremely comfortable. My biggest complaint was having the girl assigned to you in order to change and the locker room attendant and the rest of the staff freaking out about a camera. It is nearly impossible to sneak one in there because there is always someone watching you.

I was able to be discreet about it in other termas and most other locker room attendants didn't seem to care even if they did notice me. Aeroporto did care. Other than that, this place gets the Xenono thumbs up!

While I was there I did Leticia, Bela, and Barbara. Leticia is highly recommended as is Bela. Barbara was a solid session, but not as good as Leticia and Bela. Bela is a blonde bombshell and Leticia is a half German, half Brazilian fuck machine! She loves it hard and fast and asks you to be rough with her!

I have to agree with you on Aeroporto. I always have a great time there. I particularly like the relaxation area. It's a great place to hang with the garotas. As to being assigned a girl, I never felt that was exactly the case. True, one will help you hang your clothes in the locker room (which I like), but I've never had one stick with me unwanted. In fact, after a trip to the showers they rarely reapproach.

Aeroporto used to get great reviews a few years back, and then fell out of favor for quite some time. Thanks, Xenono for updating us.

Cinelandia station and then a 5-8 minute walk or a 15 real taxi ride to Rua Siquera Campos. Clientele tends to be middle to upper management and older and better off brasileiros -- of course, not exclusively so. (4x4 tends to be lower to middle management and younger, and it is cheaper.) These brasileiros lavish their favorites with more money (for offsite action), better presents and trips than the vast majority of foreigners. On average, the women tend to be older and the bottoms are a tad wider, and they are better conversationalists (in Portuguese) here than the Copacabana termas. This place screens the women more than the Copa termas also--no attitudes tolerated here. They are hired to stroke egos, listen to wife stories, kiss-the-asses of the cliente and sell the fantasia here. Ironically, the widest bottom here went to Monte Carlo 6 months ago, but she has lost a lot of weight since. 40 minute cabines are 150 reals and an hour suite is 220 reals. If they dont recognize you or you are on your first visit, they want the entrance fee of 50 reals upfront. The size of its boite, relaxation room and "tv" (with no tv) room combined equals 4x4s boite. The locker room is about the size of the smaller one at 4x4. It can get very crowded after 6PM towards the end of the week. This place opens at noon and half the women get there at noon and the other half have to be there by 3PM.

Xenono: I knew a Leticia, a morena claro, muita simpatica, about 5'2", 105 lbs, worked there about 3 years ago. Could it be the same one?

Well, the Leticia I did there was about my height at 5'7", but that was with heels. She was half German, half Brazilian and was from that Minas something state. She was very light skinned and had braces.

Update on Terma Aeroporto: I was there a few days ago and while the Boite is very small I still had a good time. There was about 30 Garotas there and some were fairly attractive. Mostly Brazilian men there but I was treated great by everyone. If the place was only a little bigger and a few more stunners I would recommend. - Hemp

I was in Terma Aeroporto last July, and two weeks ago. Was there in the afternoon about 1:30. I would have to agree with Hemp.

During the times I was there, there were probably about 4 to 1, or 5 to 1 girls to guys. There were some really beautiful 8's and 9's, but some of the others were only average. However, most were doable.

On the last trip had a little blond about 5' 2". Think she would have probably gotten a 7.5 rating from most of you. Sorry, do not have any pictures.

Don't remember the prices, but they had to be about 1/2 of Centarus. I was in Centarus also later in the week, and they wanted 490 reals for a sweet. With the vaule of the greenback going down, Centarus is starting to cost real money.

Compared to Centarus, Terma Aeroporto was a bargain.

The price of a 40 minute cabine has gone up to 200R; 150R to the garota. An increase of 50R within less than a year. This place has been hit very hard by the exodus to Europe. It seems, they had to up the fee to the garotas or lose even more and to compete better with the other termas. Entrance is 50R -- a minimum of $250. 4x4 is now 170R for an hour, but entrance is still free, if you go upstairs before 5PM.

Aeroporto has long been my favorite, although it doesn't seem to be very popular among the Hombres. I found the girls there lower milage and act less like a pro when you meet them out of the club for "long time".

They are closed during the weekend though. But if I am looking for afternoon action during the weekdays, Aeroporto would be my top choice - Solarium would be my second.

Sex Junkie - Your right about meeting them outside of the Terma. When I was there in Feb I sessioned with a Garota who got off at 10:00 since she started at 12:00. She asked me if I wanted to go to dinner? Well what would you say? Hell Yes! We had a nice dinner at Don Camillo and a nice time afterwards. I have passed by Aeroporto by taxi a number of times in the last couple of weeks and their large sign on the side of the building has been draped in black plastic. Here that usually means the business has gone belly up.

I was just there a few hours ago. It was business as usual. It seems the quality and quantity of the girls have even improved compare to when I was here last August.

Hemp, Thanks for the update. I've only been there a few times, usually ok, but bad about a year ago. It was about a year ago, a garota cut the session short, because I couldn't cum. To explain, there was no phone in the room to end the session, so it was up to the garota to end it when she pleased. I complained to management, but they were not helpful at all. She was the 3rd of the day, what did she expect.

I have been to Aueropuerto 4 times. 1st time in July 2004, 2nd time in Feb 2005, and 2 times this week.

I have noticed that this week, the selection has bee very good. Most of the garotas are are 20-25 yo. Best time to come is after 3 PM and before 6 PM.

With the fall of the dollar vs the real, nothing is low cost here. However, for a mutto bom cuelo con completa, it would still be $500 in the states. For a 1 hr suite, and a 23 yo muito bon cuelo, the price was 332 reals.

There are other spots more expensive, and others at less cost, but with the wife near at hand, this was as good choice.

The costs at Aeroporto are far too high especially considering that the quality of the garotas is nowhere near that of Centaurus. I did manage to find a beauty named Danni at Aeroporto a few weeks ago so I guess I shouldn't complain. Danni

I had always wondered why there was not much discussion on this termas as it is almost walking distance to the other Centro termas. A few weeks back I took the liberty to view it for myself -- even being dissuaded by some fellow americans and even brasilian taxi drivers.

I arrived at 5:30pm on a Thursday thinking it should be good time to stick around and see all the talent. Let me tell you, this is far and away the worst assembly of brasilieras I have ever seen in Rio. I am not sure if they cater to men who like fat and old garotas, but I'd say a good 80% looked over 30.

My entrance fee of 60R included 2 caiprinhas so I stuck around to just enjoy those before getting the hell out of there. For the most part, I minded my own business thinking why a guy would spend 280R to fuck one of these beasts when just a few blocks away something much better could be found.

I recognized the girl "Danni" who pictured above to come over and sit with me. She is the only thing close to doable in the place and after sizing her up I decided my money would be spent better elsewhere.

This place cannot be considered a Top Tier termas in my opinion. The talent is horrendous, the bar is ridiculously small and to take a girl for 40 mins total is 280R. Don't waste your time.

Aeroporto is only "top tier" in the sense that it charges top tier prices. The talent hasn't been top tier in at least 8 years. It is without doubt the most overpriced termas in Rio.

Still, someone needs to drop in there every six months or so just to see if it's still shit or has improved. However, in my 3.5 years of going to Rio, besides the usual spikes and valleys of talent level within a given termas, the overall assessments haven't changed at all.

Termas Aeroporto is mentioned in 2009/01 Bwana_Dik - Bwana Dik’s Rio Guide 2009 (Seventh Edition)

This place may have closed in 2011. Can anyone confirm?

I saw, somewhere, that someone mentioned it had reopened. The person actually went in and was pleasantly surprised. I'll check it out in Oct., but it would be great if someone in town could confirm this.

I shall heed the call of duty (if its not too far off the beaten path).

Close to the Cinêlandia metro stop, right on Av. Beira Mar, very close to the Aeroporto Othon Hotel.
