What the hell? There are thousands of threads of people who go to Colombia, yet you never bothered to read them. There are do's and dont's. You obiously didn't go with your head about the value of the peso. If you are still in Cartagena, read the threads man !!!

Caps off Mr. Hunterman hahahahah. I'm new at posting reports, so give me a break. Here's a little more detail. When I put chica out of room that night, bigger problems start the next day. I go to beach and tell tony i had problem with chica,so i do not pay her.While we are talking,she show's up making a big scene. Tony ask me to please give her 50,000 pesos,i say no way.so she leaves. i leave 10 minutes later after her.as i am walking by the police stand by the beach. I see her and police, they wave me over, and say pay her.

I finally pay, because i don't know any spanish, i then go back to beach, and him did you set me up, he say no way, i really didn't believe him. so i just kicked myself in the ass.

Mr. what the hell, i did read threads for columbia. i just got in a bad situation. Anyway will continue this report at a later date,also the chica's beach name is camile. her real name is alisha, 27years old and bad business.

Chitown1 you took one of Tony's chica to a disco? Why did you do that? You are on the clock once you leave Tony. Why didn't you call Karen or Yessica? They are fantastic. If you've read all the Cartenga posts, you sure didn't learn much you've broken just about every piece of advice written so far. Who did you rent the apartment from? Do you speak spanish?

Yeah you're right bluelight, with try this again next year. I rented from juan ventura. i don't know any spanish,but will try to learn some for my next trip here.

Don’t beat yourself up about this, its all part of the learning curve. You’re not really a serious monger until you have two or three of these types of stories the important thing is not to let it spoil your holiday and get out unscathed. If you think you’ve fucked up read my Lima report from a few years back I fucked up in a very similar way twice!

Tony is someone I like to avoid. He is scum.

Remember what all have said on the board. Tony is not the one to talk to on Hollywood Beach. Jaison is more honest. He speaks English.

Also, read my thread--hunting in Cartagena. You can avoid all of the beach touts.

You do not need to speak much of any Spanish to have a good time in Cartagena. Rent from Juan or Mary--they speak English. Menues are mostly in English our Spanish or with pictures.

Tony--well, you could get burned. Jaison is more honest, and everyone on the beach likes him. They all do not like Tony.

Juan was a good choice, you started off on the right foot. Now you just need to build on that next trip. Try to find a wingman, it makes things alot more fun and you only make 1/2 as many mistakes. You can blame the other 1/2 on the the wingman. No one tried to kill you and you made it home with a good story. It wasn't all bad. Welcome to the club.
