You can now fly to Aeroparque (AEQ) in BA. AEP is the downtown airport, and is much faster getting in and out of town than having to go through EZE.
GOL, Aerolineas Argentina, LAN, and TAM have nonstop flights to and from Sao Paulo.
If you are coming from another country, you will have to go through EZE. Many visit BA, and then go to Brazil, or likewise come from Brazil.
Anyway, I think the opportunity for those in Sao Paulo to not have to go through EZE could be a real advantage.
Having flown to and from AEP before when visiting Montevideo, I can tell you that it is a much EASIER airport to get to AND to CLEAR IMMIGRATION than using EZE.
You can get here from other points in Brazil if you change planes at GRU, or Montevideo. If you do not like EZE, you might consider AEP as an option also.
Anyway, I thought some of you BA lovers would be interested in this option.
To understand the difference between AEP and EZE, consider in Washington DC the difference between using DCA and IAD, ans in Los Angeles, the difference between BUR and LAX.
Current cost is about $300 US one way on both GOL and Aerolieans Argentina, and about $425 on both TAM and LAN.
Happy BA visits.

Continental/United has a non stop from Houston/IAH to Sao Paulo/GRU, which would allow any of the combos listed above. Additionally, CO flies N/S from IAH to EZE and the reverse routing would be available, just FYI.
