Its time to go back to Rio soon, but this time Help is long gone. As we all know Help made it all so simple, because there was no need to go anywhere else. I was there last year the week before it closed and had a great time as always. Actually that time was surreal! But thats another story. Anyways, my question is... where does all the Help girls go now? They cant all go to Balcony? I mean thats such a small place. I talked to some girls before Help closed down and they said that the girls would go to 4x4 (quatro por quatro). Has anyone been to this place?
I ve also noticed that there has come a lot more Escorte sites after Help closed down (even thou lot of the girls on these sites are the same and they are freelance).
One thing that I was planning to do which I know someone on the site has done before was to make a map with places to find girls, eat, sleep etc. As I said I know Rio quit well and I know about some "local" places that (correct me if Im wrong) I dont think many tourists know about. Im talking about places where you can get laid for 1 RS a minute! Im serious! I will do so when Im down there thou. But keep an eye out for it.
But for now, it would be very helpful if someone could give me some information about where its happening in Rio at the moment?

if you know Rio quit well, why don't put a trip report instead of this crap about help. if you found you did not need to go elsewhere, you shouldn't return to rio then.

Hey the guy was asking a real question, don't jump down his throat. I liked the "help" girls myself, and would like to know if there is also another location where there is a punta disco.

He says in another thread that he's lived in Rio for 3 years, then says here that he's going back for the first time in 10 months or so. So which is it?

Balkony wasn't too bad in May, but not too good now. Last night was the first night in eight days that I took a girl from there and I was there every night. Only really good to hang out and shoot the shit.

Is this the same Portege who used to specialize in reporting on places he hadn't yet visited, such as telling us the best way to get transportation to Pattaya (before he ever visited Thailand), or how to use Facebook or some other social networking tool to set up rendevous's with women in countries he hadn't yet visited, or for that matter telling all the vets here they were full of shit in their reports on Thailand pricing before he ever visited Thailand?

Maybe this wasnt the right tread to ask a question. But thanks to some of you. To the other ones.. .I agree it shouldnt have been put here. Thanks for the Bitchmap hehe fantastic. Just to clarify.. as LaGuy said.. it is possible to live elsewhere in Brazil than Rio. There are som good places out there, but nothing like the cariocas. Ive lived 3 years in the state Rio, but 3 hours away from the city Rio de Janeiro. And its 10 month since I left and now Im heading back. And as you all know things change quickly.

The question of where all the Help girls have gone really boils down to the type of girls that used to frequent 'Help'. Help attracted alot of out of town talent - not just girls from Rio'(i.e. Carioca's). Some of the hottest girls came from Sao Paulo, Bahia, Minas Gerais, etc. For the most part those out of town girls are gone - just a few left in the Balcony Bar. Their ability to earn the type of money they used to in Help is pretty much gone - so why came back to Rio?.

The rest, either married off, started traveling to Spain, Italy, or visiting "boyfriend customer's" in those countries with the wisdom to allow Brazilian hotties enter without Visa's (i.e most of Europe).

There might be some that ended up in the terma's, local casa's, etc, but I think unless some new nightclub on the scale of 'Help' comes along the scene has permanently changed.

Personally I do not miss Help all that much...plenty of freelancers available, termas, etc. Also prices started to get crazy in Help.

Pelslaika - the R$1 minute places are pretty well known (just read through the topics and previous postings on this board), and also the primary scene in Rio is pretty well documented here at this point.

New casas come and go, but that next big thing - i.e. a "New Help" that will be news! I just do not see it on the horizon.
