RT here. Well, you can add another location to the puta-rific area that is Lince, especially in the five-block radius around Plaza Vea on Avenue Arequipa. The Kingdom hotel has a Banos Turcos on the 8th floor of their hotel.
You enter, the bellhop looks at you like you're from another planet until you tell him that you are there for the sauna, then he is relieved, and points to the elevator.
Upstairs, it is pretty standard. You give your wallet and valuables to the girl at the counter; she locks them up and gives you a key. The locker room is clean and modern. The towel boys were helpful, although they could not come up with as large a towel as they give me at Lions Spa.
Both the steam and dry saunas were in working order. They are probably specified to hold ten people, but my guess is that six would be the maximum without having to rub, er, elbows. There was a jacuzzi and small pool right outside the saunas, but I didn't use either of them.
The rest area was full of recliners, and each chair had its own private tv screen attached, with headphones so you didn't have to listen to other people's conversations and tv shows. There were two PCs, in case you wanted to keep in touch with the outside world.
I saw both 'legitimate' masajistas and 'relax' girls in the bullpen, readily identifiable by their outfits and the fact that the hookers had their asses hanging out of the bottom of their dresses. Posted prices were 45 soles for a masaje 'therapeutico' and 25 soles for a 'relax' session. The hookers all looked like hookers, and they ranged from pretty to not-so-pretty. They were not at all aggressive in approaching the customers. I was there in the early afternoon. There were three girls on duty at 2:00, and a few more when I left at 4:30.
Strictly in the name of research, I nodded hello to one of the girls, and she used that opportunity to stop by where I was reclining. She gave me a mild sales pitch, which I turned down. I asked how much 'servicio' was, and she told me 200 soles. The Spanish forum reports 'tips' as ranging form 130 to 175 soles, so she could have been gringo taxing me, or perhaps just starting a negotiation section, I'm not sure.
I would return to the sauna at the Kingdom Hotel, if just for the facilities. I suppose some of the prettier girls might make the visit pleasurable, but if I was hooker shopping, it would not be my first stop on the tour.
Admission was 25 soles, a bottle of agua con gas was another 4 soles. There was a food menu as well. It looked to be pretty standard, with prices on the high side of fair for a sauna.
