Check this out -> http://odia.terra.com.br/portal/brasil/html/2011/3/obama_pode_acabar_com_visto_para_brasileiros_147962.html

Use google and its translate function if you do not read Portuguese.

In a nutshell, they are actually considering eliminating the need for Brazilian's needing a visa to visit the US for tourism. Apparently less then 5% get rejected, which is the threshold at which the US starts looking at no longer having a need to issue visa's to citizen's of a particular country,

How wonderful would that be - finally being able to bring your whore back to the US for a month or two to visit, then trading up to another model whenever the opportunity allows. Basically act like a European.... good stuff!!

If I remember the legislation and regulations correctly, if someone has applied for a visa in the past and been denied, they are not eligible under the visa waiver program. So you can only ship in putas who have not tried and failed to get visas

Let's hope it happens. It seems too sensible a step for our govt. to take. We don't want all that Brazilian tourist $$, do we?

I am starting to already dream about shipping putas back and forth...might make it worth at that time to relocate back to the US from Brazil :-) Miss some creature comforts.

It would also work to our advantage from the "principle of diplomatic reciprocity", meaning that US citizen also would no longer require visa's to travel to Brazil.

In doing further googling, it appears this has been on the table since last year -> http://en.mercopress.com/2010/05/20/us-visa-waive-program-could-include-chile-argentina-and-brazil

There's another bonus if it does happen - no more visas needed to visit Brasil.

They have gamed the system pretty well. The word has gotten out that it's damn near impossible to get a visa, so applications are down. With the booming Brasilian economy, the quality of those who do apply is up. So, there could be some truth to that 5% number, since Dept. of State has effectively already separated the eligible from the obviously non-eligible ones before they even apply. High prices for the interview, having to do it in person in only four cities in the entire country - they've gamed it to where only the rich really apply anymore.

CALMA, CALMA!!!! This is the same exact shit they were saying like 5 years ago, that the US was going to do away with visas for tourists and we saw how far that went.

Be honest, do you really think the government will allow prostitutes to travel to America? Hell no! Our illegal immigration problems would triple within 5 years! All those prostitutes and poor people would have no reason to go back to brasil.

So while its nice to dream of monthly visits from 4X4 girls, its not going to happen anytime soon.

Actually, it was more like a few years ago when an additional 12 or so countries were placed on the short list for visa waiver expansion.

All seems to have gone well with South Korea, and I would say there are a hell of a lot more Korean hookers in the US than Brasilian ones. In the past, they all were basically shipped in by one of the Korean gangs on tourist or L-1 visas. Now, they can come and go as they please. Less organized crime, and ICE seems to have no complaints. There also doesn't appear to be a problem with some of the former Soviet Bloc countries like Estonia and Latvia, which are really poor.

I would not be surprised to see Brazil added, along with Argentina and Uruguay, both of which used to be visa-waiver approved.

Isn't it about time Brazilians got some respect. After all, their GDP is on pace to exceed that of Italy, the UK and France to become the world's 5th largest economy.

Brazil 5 years ago, just like the US (remember the days before the real estate bubble and economic crisis?) was very different then the Brazil of today...Brazil is due to get some respect and as Exectalent mentioned fast becoming one of the world's top economies.

Rich or at least financially comfortable Brazilian's have been filling almost all of the flights I have been on between Miami or JFK and Rio. The last few times I noticed how the immigration line in Brazil for tourist's was about 10-20% of the line of Brazilian's returning back to Rio. Economic growth is such in Brazil that it is causing a level of inflation of more then 6%, forcing Brazil to raise its interest rates.

Guess who is the fifth largest foreign holder of US debt - it is Brazil (http://www.geldpress.com/2009/02/top-15-foreign-holders-of-us-debt/)

I have never been too worried about illegal immigration to the US, especially considering the type of jobs they are limited to - so, unless you are considering a career in being a waiter, cutting grass, babysitter, or cleaning houses, I think there is not much of a threat there

Another thing too - it's not like someone is going to walk from Brazil to the US. They may try and fly to Mexico and then across, but the point is that most GdPs, as we know, are 1) very lazy and 2) not that bright. As several of us have stated before, any of them could head off to Europe any time they want. Most don't, because they like Brazil. Those that do head off to Europe tend to come back. Why? They don't want to get in trouble with Swiss or Spanish or whatever authorities, and they really like Brasil.

There's not much in the way of Portuguese television here. There aren't tens of millions of Portuguese speakers. They don't have a dozen relatives already here who can set them up with jobs and housing and in general, explain how to live as an illegal. I used to live in Pompano Beach FL, where there are thousands of Brasilians - as many as 25k, supposedly, in North Broward. I never saw anything approaching the levels of illegality that approaches any hispanic community, be it L.A. or Omaha, Nebraska.

I don't think there would be a big surge in illegals. Will there be a surge in guys bringing girls up? Sure, but as anyone who's had a GdP up before, you'll be putting her ass back on the plane soon enough. A few days to a few weeks is the maximum you'll want to entertain a garota up here. I think most of the guys who currently bring them up on K-1 or after having married them in Brasil keep them hear solely out of guilt and/or a sense of responsibility. Once they're free to come and go on their own, you'll feel a lot better about kicking them to the curb. Or, in this case, dropping them off at the airport for their return flight.

I have thought about bringing a garota here to NJ many times. But after thinking it thru, what will they do all day while I'm at work? Sleep, fuck the neighbors or the mailman? They cant drive, work, speak good English. Its almost like they're a pet.
My friend brought back and married girl from Columbia and it was a total disaster. She got fat, drove him nuts [she was diagnosed as bi-polar] and it ended up costing him 3 years of hell and $40,000.00 when all was said and done. Now , she wont go back to Columbia and still stalks him.
Another story is a guy in my town has a HOT Brazilian wife [33yo} and he is 59.He married her in Brasilia and brought her back. She has fucked a dozen guys on the side while he was working or sleeping. My neighbors son(20 yo) bangs her regularly.

At least the Colombiana had plenty of Spanish-language TV, radio, newspapers, plenty of other hispanics to talk to - assuming he wasn't living in the middle of nowhere. For a brasilera, increase the issues by an order of magnitude - at least.

I agree.

Jonnyroc:

Your neighbors son should be careful. That old guy will probably shoot him someday.

MM,
This kid is a 6'2'' HS football star , he told me she fucks him in his jeep and in her house 4-5 times a week. She is very sexy. I assume she was a GDP.

Lol, that's why the call them "equalizers".

Lol, that's why the call them "equalizers". Now, the question is: why isn't Johnnyroc in on the action?

By Lovingmarvin on Friday, March 04, 2011 - 12:07 pm:  Edit

Cat is right - the GDP's like Brazil. Just take a survey in Balcony Bar (or if you had knew some of the girls in the former 'Help'). Many have traveled to Germany, Spain, and Italy (sometimes multiple times) - they all eventually want to come back. I have truly become convinced that the majority just simply like that lifestyle (i.e. whoring, drinking, and some drugs). They are super lazy, and certainly not smart, and want the easy life.

So, maybe short doses work best - 2-4 weeks, then ship them back home again. Personally a week is about the max I have ever been able to tolerate any of them to date, with the majority falling into the 2 nights range before I get sick & tired of them.

I would definitely bring a brasilian GDP here to the US if I did not have to pay several $$$ in legal fees to do so. I live in a warm climate, close to a beach and anymore do much of my work at home so I can make sure she is not "fucking the mailman". I have often said that if not for the girls, I would not be going back to Rio -- I really have to diminish my lifestyle to a shitty apartment and not being able to drive a car and in general everything costing more.
Most cable/dish networks offer Globo, so as long as a garota has a king size bed and Globo novelas to watch and access to the beauty salon she will be in blissful heaven. The few that I have in mind I have spent several days in a row with and they do cook, clean and can do a little more than just fuck.
About my only concern is just the distraction of having her around all the time and having the responsibility of making sure nothing happens to her while visiting. I like the comparison to having a "pet", except it is more like watching someone else's pet while they are away on vacation.
