Hey Guys,

Planning on going to Medellin in June for my first trip to Colombia but I was wondering something. I have heard that a lot of gringos get plastic surgery in Colombia because it is ubber cheap. I knew one lady a few years ago who would do this quite a bit. I was wondering have anyone heard of this? Also is it really risky? You hear all these horror stories so i am pretty curious since I wouldn't mind getting my gut reduced with a little lipo. Of course if its affordable.

Look at some of the pics coming out of Colombia. Doesn't look like the plastic surgeons are that good. Boobs pointing in all directions. Areolas wrecked from augmentation.

In 2006 I had my beer gut lipo'd out in Bangkok. Ranks up there as one of the best things I ever did in my life. To this day the results are dramatic. Hurt like hell. I was in a hospital for 5 days in Bangkok and seriously debilitated to some extent for at least 2 or 3 weeks after. I successfully pulled a random Sukhumvit street girl at 3:00AM, hours before the surgery and she very faithfully camped out night and day in my hospital room throughout the ordeal.

As for Colombia, I've heard of very qualified surgeons, and of butchers, and you're on your own to determine which is which. Seems to me not an endeavor for a first trip but the idea has merit.

The lipo or the Shkumvit street girl? IIRC the lipo was like 80,000 Baht all in and the exchange was like 40 Baht/Dollar back then, so I figure I paid like $2k..... and I paid the Sukhumvit SG like 2,000 Baht/day.

Just out of curiosity, what services did the SG provide while you were indisposed in the hospital--or to put it another way, what services were you capable of accepting during your recovery in the hospital? Other than keeping you company with her sweet smile

To be 100% honest I was tore up. She performed admirably in Dynasty Inn just hours prior to the surgery, earning her the long term gig. She was actually helpful checking into the hospital and took her role as caretaker seriously.

In my hospital room, after being hit with the first dose of heavy meds, there was a bizarre interaction where SG stated she realized the hospital was a classy place looking after my interests, and would I please tell the staff she was my girlfriend and I knew her for a long time since she felt she was about to be thrown out of the place.

A judgment call, under heavy meds I told the hospital staff to let her be. Locked all my stuff in the hotel room-like electronic safe they had in the hospital room and got wheeled away for surgery.

Afterworlds, I'm the horniest guy there is but it definitely killed the mood. I was happy for SG to feed me, give me drinks of water and help me take a piss. Got a "sponge bath" from a candy striper nursing student which was kind of cool. BJ's from the SG day 3 which was the first I was even in the mood for it.

Checked out and went to Marriot on Sukhumvit day 5 and did full 3 hole programs w/ sg there but still hurt like hell.

What the hell. I'll make you guys all fucking sick. (cant wait to see my scores) Worth it???? The first pic was taken immediately prior to departure for Thailand. The second was taken exactly 26 days after the first, 23 days post surgery. Bottom line, it was totally worth it.

They did a hell of a good job on you. Most guys, me included, wouldn't have the huevos to post what you did.

Back in 1998, I had lipo done to suck some fat off my man boobs. It worked good for a while, but now, 14 years later, all the fat has come back. That was over three grand down the drain...

LOL, I'm drunk now and I'm sure I'll regret posting it tomorrow but WTH, It turned out good.

6 Years later the big "hang over the belt" beer gut is still gone. Don't look as good as pic 2 now, but look 1000% better than pic 1 6 years after. I'd say 80% of the effect, "stuck" long term.

IAS - I never knew they could lipo away a beer gut but I guess that coupled with exercise afterwards would do the trick. Which Bangkok plastic surgery group/surgeon did you visit? How much weight in fat did they remove? How long afterwards did you fly home?
