Nibster. You seem to be very knowledgeable about Peru. However, your posts are extremely short, vague and quite honestly, not very useful.
I have long considered a trip to Peru. How about the names and addresses of these places? How about some pictures? How about prices and procedures? How about services provided and the quality of the service? How about specific chica recommendations? How about a review of some of the places including the information I stated above?

If you need some information about Peru read my report from last August. It should be a lot of help. Other than that be careful of other posts and information on the board. Short, vague reports are because they are a lot of smoke and I found nothing but dead ends. I will be returning to Peru in a few weeks. If some new, acurate information was posted, in a safe area for gringos, I was able to verify these leads I would be glad to retract my statement and send along an apology.

Does anyone know a good hotel in or near the San Andrés Neighborhood (Tapa) in Trujillo, Peru. I'm being sent there and heard that that was one of the nicer sections of Trujillo.

Hey guys ... I had posted on another board the following (as a mini-guide for Lima). I know that most of this information can be gleaned via the multiple other posts, but - for the sake of saving time - I thought that I'd drop this post here. I hope that it helps:

... Club 69 is a pricey club, and Tequila Rock has been pretty well known for not being the place for 'those in the know' to go to.
Here's a quick list w/location and prices that I had made before my trip last spring. You may have already read it (as I had posted it a few weeks ago), but I'll repost it - in the hope that it helps you. At the end of the list, I'll try to type out what I would do, if I were you (and I sure as hell wish I could be there ... rather than the chilled northeast). NOTE: This list includes everything that I had put together prior to the trip (thus, having some overpriced places/services); as I've mentioned, read below for what I'd do with the list.

[A 5 MULTI-POINT PLAN]:
(1) Wake up in the morning and make it easy for yourself. Go to *Turcos en Los Andes* on Angamos Este 833 (floor 8). For about 3-4 NS, a taxi will take you NE of markets. It's open 24 hrs in a hotel w/3 floors sauna showers, jacuzzi, choose from 6-7 women for about 150NS for the session. Also, there is a 20 NS entry fee.(Av. Angamos Este 833-835 8vo. piso del hotel Los Andes, 447-8177). It's not the cheapest place, but it'll start you off on the right foot; I went there 3 times, and each time found a rather attractive chica to choose from. If you really enjoy your session, ask for the girls cell phone number for a possible nightcap at your hotel with her. These girls work 8 hour shifts, and, out of the 150 NS that you give them, they only get to keep 75 NS (half of it) ... so keep that in mind. 100-150NS should be able to give you a nightcap with her - heck, maybe even for free ... if she likes you.
(2) Have lunch in Pizza Alley and talk with the waitresses. Try to sit next to some girls that you may be interested in. Make sure that you bring a pen and paper, because you will be asking for cell phone numbers. Just be obvious about it, JWadd ... because - if you're not obvious - you will experience the same boredom that you had yesterday.
(3) Continue on your (con)quest to get phone numbers from chicas. Don't expect everyone to say 'yes' to you ... but you will get enough numbers if you keep moving and grooving. Where else to go other than the tiendas of Miraflores?
((3a)) If you go to Centro, there are a lot of tiendas there on the streets ... some stores which are run-down department gallerias which you should walk into. If you see a girl you like, ask for her number. Ask the ice-cream girl, ask the 3 chicas who are walking down the street ... be aggressive and have fun. JWadd, I will be disappointed if I hear that you don't get at least 2-3 numbers from a walk through the street tiendas. Beware though: Centro has a lot of pick-pockets, so be especially careful with respect to you cash. It should be easy for a taxi driver to take you to Centro for 4-7 NS. I wouldn't stay there past sun-down ... however.
((3b)) Go to Larco Mar and enjoy the site of the ocean ... maybe have a snack. Once in a while, you'll find a girl standing/sitting alone. If you like her, act fast and get her number. Quite frankly, she may or may not be amenable to you actions, but - heck - it's your adventure. If she says 'no,' it's her loss; you should save your gringo-laden company and (achem) talents for the next girl who says 'yes.'
(4) For the mid-late afternoon, before the sun sets, go to one of the following places:
((4a)) *Cucardas* - 330-0370/423-7202/431-6891, 875 Ricardo Treneman, Alt Cdra 9 Av Colonial y Argentina, taxi, 15NS entry, 30-40NS - 40 rooms
((4b)) *Trocadero/La Salvaje*, 18th street of Avenida Argentina in Callao, (4)5pm to 9(10)pm w/peak at 7pm (taxi 4US, 10NS entry, 15NS) - NOTE: NOT open until about 5pm.
Both of these places will require for you to ask for a taxi to take you there, wait for you, and take you back. You should be able to do the trip for 10-15 NS, but beware of inflation if (1) you look very gringo and (2) if you don't speak fluent Spanish.
(4) Before dinner, go to an internet cafe in Miraflores and go to *placeresdelperu.com*. If you really like what you see, you can set up either (1) having them come to your place for 150-200 NS for 1-2 hours, or (2) going to their place - my preference - for 100 NS for 1-2 hours. Usually, they work from morning till about 8-10pm ... call them if you're interested.
(5) Hopefully, by the evening, you can hang out with with a girl or two who you had already contacted from lunch or the early afternoon. If not (which I sincerely hope would not be the case) ... DO NOT go to places like Club 69, Suites de Barranco, or Tequila Rock ... unless you want to spend freely on what can be had for much less, if not free; I had those same places on my pre-trip list as back-up, but never had to go to them. You're bad start to your Lima trip is due to visiting some of the worst possible places (IMO). What to do? Give Amilcar a call at 9-973-1676. He is very discreet about hooking gringos up, but be nice and say that a friend recommmend him to you. Ask him if he knew of any good girls who can accompany you, and he should be able to help you - if he is not busy. If not ... call one of the call services. The newspapers have listings of escorts, as well - if you want more than what you see on my list. Also, something that I didn't take advantage of when I was in Peru - hang out with one of the guys from this board. Have fun, and party! Meet the locals, and branch out. Rather than going to Traffic, go to a pena in Barranco - the locals in the penas love foreigners; I went to one named "De Cajaro" and had a blast! Mingle and start racking up your free/girlfriends for the evenings ... haha ... while reserving your mongering for the daytime. If you have a friend to go with ... try La Parada in La Victoria ... it's an experience (if you want to see wall to wall, inexpensive chicas ... albeit, in a grungy, edgy atmosphere - you have to see it to understand).

In Cusco, you can always find willing gals at the main discos along the Plaza de Armas (main square). Curently the hots discos are Mama America and Mama Africa. Usually the gals here will approach you and work drinks out of you buy you can often just be blunt and ask to leave with them. Check with your hotel or hostel that they allow guests as some will not. Also, many of the girls will prefer the familiarity of their own places.
Be careful if you try to take the girls between bars or discos though as a girl welcome in one may not be welcome in another due to on going rivalries (last night the gal I was with was denied from Mama Africa).
Enjoy.
I am in Puno now and heading to Arequipa so any information is welcome. Thanks.

Availability of Cialis in Lima, Peru? Any information would be appreciated.

The very special thing about prostitutes in Peru is, that they behave as if they were your girlfriends. They will treat you in a nice way, and - the most special thing - kissing on the mouth is something completely normal, for as long as you want. On the other hand, oral sex is not so commun; some girls may give you a blow job, if you ask for it, but it will not take the same importance as for example in Europe.
1. In Cusco there are several places about 10 minutes from the main touristic center. Just take between 22.00 and more or less 03.00 a taxi and ask for a "casa de mujeres". You will be brought to one of many different bars. There will be many women around there, which will beginn to talk to you. They will ask you for a drink. After some time, you may ask for extra services. Be carefull, most women there will try to make you stay in the bar and pay drinks for her the longest possible time, so at one time, you will have to make her understand, that you might leave, either together with her to a hotel or just alone back to your place. At that point she will probably begin to negotiate; the price for her service alone will be around 50.- US (at least, thatßs what I paid in may 2003).
2. Lima: One possibility to meet hookers is to go to the mall "Larcomar". This is a beautiful place in one of the better areas of Lima, and you will feel safe there. I just walked around looking at shops when a taxi driver spoke to me and offered me to take me to a nightclub about 10 minutes away. There you may meet many woman and take them out to a Motel if you want. Prices were ruther hight, around 100.- US, but it was a place for tourists, and you surely paid also for being in a safe place.

A brief update from my trip to Lima in May 2004.
Stayed in Las Palmas. Absolutely cool about girls coming and going. A somewhat dumpy hotel with little to no climate control in the room resulting in musty dank smell throughout the hotel. great jacuzzi and small staff who know all the guests and where they are.
Wrote ahead on amigos.com and met a lovely 24 y/o who is majoring in international business. I decided a trip to Cuzco/Machu Pichu would be fun and we went for the weekend and had a great time. Her school is in the evening which worked out great as my days were filled with seeing Lima and my nights were free. I tried Tequila Rock. I saw one girl with large tits and a nice body/face who wanted $80 for the night. I walked up and said hello and in 5 minutes we were off to the hotel. She is a nurse at the childrens hospital, 25 years old with a large tatoo on her tummy and some of the nicest natural tatas I have seen in a while. Performance was soso with her insistance on durex condoms that were both virtually unbreakable and restricted feeling. She wanted to give me her phone number but I refused nicely three times so that I would not have trouble if I saw her again at TR.
Went to a turkish bath in the hotel Andes. A nice sauna, massage and complete session in a nice bedroom for over an hour with the total time of around two hours. Cost with a drink for the girl ( one of 5 I choose after the sauna ) was under $60 and was a very relaxing experience for 9-11 in the morning. A very sweet girl about 25 years old with a very nice face and body and a great attitude.
I went through Pizza Alley a few times but did not really have time to pursue what looked like good options. Many looks that were obvious from good looking girls in their early to mid twentys.
I went to Club 69 which was 80 soles to get in with one drink and a two drink (80 soles total) and 80 sole salida for a total cost for the club of 240 soles. Steep but worth it for the quality of girls was outstanding. I immediately asked a 20 y/o hotty to be my guide for the night (20 dollars and she got the two drinks I needed to buy anyway). She accepted her job and that I would be leaving with someone else and we set out to rate the looks and probable performance of most of the girls. After a hilarious hour and 1/2 contest as to who would be the lucky girl and how much I should pay her, I surprised her with the fact that she was the one I wanted and we left. Prices here are $100 and up and could be negotiated down maybe 20-30%. We went to my room and had a wild night in the jacuzzi and the bed. This was one fun chica who was hot as hell and loved the whole night. I met her the day I got back from Cuzco and spent my last night with her. We never discussed money and I slipped her $100 each time with no cost for the club the second night. Both times she somewhat weakly tried to give it back but I insisted as she was obviously working for needed money and I was happy to give it to her. She is coming to the US in October to study and wants to spend some time with me in Miami while she is here.
Overall, I had a great time and could easily of slipped away in Cuzco for some evening fun with many girls in the Plaza de Armes area who had the look.
I did not pay the girl from Amigos anything but did pay for the trip to Machu Pichu, some meals and some small soveniers. I told her in general terms what I was doing at night (mongering) and have a great new friend in Lima. She wanted to have sex in Cuzco but I wanted to avoid any hassle this time and told her if I came back we could progress the relationship if it felt right then.
I have spent a lot of time in the DR and would say that Lima is clearly more expensive and somewhat tamer but a great destination for mixed travel. Machu Pichu was amazing and should not be missed if you visit Peru. I arrived at 9pm and left at 7am so I had 6 nights and 5 days in Peru. I would plan a longer trip if possible as I only scratched the surface and want to go back soon.
By Yujin on Monday, September 13, 2004 - 10:23 am: Edit |
This is my first visit to Peru. I didn't come here to monger so I really can't add anything new to what's posted on this board. My primary intent was to spend a couple of weeks at a local language school in Lima - El Sol - to improve my Spanish, but everything was subject to change and it did change. I decided to cut the two-week of language class to one-week. I'll be spending my last week in Cusco and visit Machu Pichu.
From the perspective of a first-time visitor, here are some of my random thoughts and impressions of Lima. Hopefully, it won't be too disjointed. I'm typing this without writing a rough draft, editing or proof reading so forgive me for any mistakes. Remember, this is my own personal thoughts and impression of Lima after only a one-week visit so don't take offense.
Lima has got to be the loudest city that I've every visited. The noise level in this city exceeds Bangkok. All the noise is caused by traffic. In Lima, drivers constantly use their horns. As they go through intersections, drivers honk their horns. There are very few traffic controls, e.g., stop signs or signal lights. Apparently, the first vehicle that honks his horn has the right-of-way. I must admit, I get very nervous riding in a vehicle in this city.
The collectivos (mini-buses) in this city also add to the noise level. There are an amazing number of them. They compete for passengers so they race past one another and jockey for position. Each collectivo has a person who stands in the doorway yelling at any and every prospective passenger on the street - ¡Andale, Andale! ¡Arriba, Arriba¡ or the destination. At first, I couldn't understand why everyone was yelling at me as I walked or stood on the sidewalk.
Car alarms are constantly going off throughout the day and night. It's more noise pollution.
The city of Miraflores is trying to get drivers to ease up on the horn usage. On nearly every street corner, there are signs reading "El Rudio" with a horn and a slash across it with the words "Destruye" or "Enferma." I doubt this campaign will works. The use of the car horn is too much of a habit here.
Jaywalking is a survival skill in this city. You need to quickly learn how to judge speed and closing distance of oncoming traffic. I can't imagine someone who is physically handicapped or slow successfully crossing a street here. If you can't get out of the way, the vehicles will at least give you a "courtesy" car honk before they run you over.
If you're a fan of NCAA, NFL, MLB, NBA, NHL and you miss watching the games on TV, you need to visit the Corner Sports Bar & Grill at Av. Larco 1207. It has 10 televisions and they show all the nationally broadcasted games. They list all the games for the upcoming week on a reader board outside. With the opening of the college and NFL season, the place had a good number of Americans as customers. Last Saturday, it was filled with Canuks watching the World Hockey semi-final game. The place serves some pretty good alitas de pollo or buffalo chicken wings.
Nobody picks up their dog shit in this city so be careful where you walk.
Skateboarding is NOT a crime in Lima.
The Chinese or "Chifa" restaurants are different here than anywhere else in the world. I didn't recognize anything on the menu and the food tasted different. It's not pure or authentic Chinese food. It's a fusion of Chinese and Peruvian. It was good, but different.
I've been told that the fire department in Lima is all volunteer. I find this incredible. It like having an all volunteer fire department in Chicago. I sure wouldn't want to be here in case of a fire or an earthquake.
The surfing scene here is much bigger than I expected. On the weekends, especially on Sundays, I count over 200 board surfers (some boogie) off the beaches of Miraflores / Larco. The waves aren't huge, but they are consistent.
I met a couple of young Americans who came to Lima to surf. They're renting an apartment on the cliffs over the beach. They told me that they're paying US$300 per month for a 3 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment for six months. That sounded like a good deal to me.
I don't know where the Starbucks is located, but finding a good cup of espresso isn't easy. Most local (not tourist) restaurants serve instant coffee. The best espresso coffee shop that I've been able to find in Miraflores is one block west (toward the beach) from the Pizza Street at the corner of Jose Galvez and Oscar Benavides. It's a fairly good size coffee shop. At some of their tables, they have coffee bean bags to sit on instead of chairs. There's also the Dunkin Donut on the opposite end of Kennedy Park.
At night, there's quite a number of discos and clubs in the Miraflores area. They're located on the second floor or above. They don't have signs outside indicating that they're a disco or club. If you see a big burly guy standing in the doorway, it's mostly likely a disco or club. I went in one, but I left soon afterwards. It was packed. It was too much of a fire trap for me.
Many of the professional girls that I've met on the Pizza Street and in Tequila Rock seem to have a hard edge to them.
The taxi cabs are numerous and unmetered. You got to know what the going rate is to where you're going and negotiate that rate before getting in the taxi. It's usually 3-5 NS to most parts of the city. Be sure that the taxi driver knows you're negotiating in NS; not US$.
The stories of crimes committed by taxi drivers are numerous. There are stories of taxi drivers using some kind of knock out spray on customers to rob them after they fall asleep. Perhaps these are exaggerations or urban legends, but I hear these stories from the locals. Yesterday on the TV news, there was a story of a taxi driver who raped a female passenger. Unfortunately, anyone can put up a "taxi" sign on their car and become a taxi cab driver so there's no regulation or background check. If you're a criminal, I guess there's no better way to find a victim.
There are casinos everywhere here. I don't gamble so I can't comment on them.
The Centro area of Lima is spooky at nights. During the daytime, they have a walking street of shops similar to that in Buenos Aires.
Compared to Buenos Aires, I find Lima to be a bit more expensive. I find this unusual since BA is much more of a European city than Lima.
In general, I find the people in Lima to be a bit friendlier than those in BA. At least I can understand the Spanish here better here than I could in BA.
Peru is not a mongering destination spot if your primary intent is to monger and you're not fluent in Spanish. If you're fluent and you have a local connection here, this city has lots and lots of potential.
That's it for now. Tomorrow, I'm off to Cusco. I found a drug that you can buy without a Rx for high altitude sickenss. It's called "Sorojchi" which is the Spanish word for mountain sickness. It cost me about US$9 for 20 capsules. I hope it works!
I hope I didn't come off as a rambling know-it all after just one visit. Again, these are just my personal thoughts and observations.

quote:Lima has got to be the loudest city that I've every visited. I must admit, I get very nervous riding in a vehicle in this city.

formely eastcoastdude here.
Sorry for the long absence. Just returned from trip number 8. Each trip has been more dissapointing for me. Not sure the reason but the prices seem to be going up quick. First trip in 02 $40 all night no problem. Now girls will walk away if you debate their $80 offer (after they have come down from $100.) The quality at Tequila Rock is still decent. More pros than anything. The semis and girls looking for milk money seem to have dissapeared. Pizza Alley has gotten real bad. Low quality. For a short time I had more offers to buy drugs than sex. Restaurant owners stepped up the pressure. More ploice presence and private security. Harrass the girls to the point not often they walk down the alley. Stand outside near the street. As you exit you are bombarded by HOLAS!!! I spent time in Cusco similiar to Lima. The park has girls walking throught at night. Night Club called Emmanuelles another is Mama Africa. Near the park and is packed evey night. need to be careful, many local are there for their own party. Look long so oyu don't hit on a fellas girlfriend. Trujillo, Chiclayo. Only a couple of days there but found nothing. 5 days in Iquitos. Seemed to be Night Clubs on every corner. But every night I returned to the hotel alone. Tough experience to share, but a must. The last night in Iquitos I finally scored. Or so I thought. Found a sweet looking thing at the park. Arrived at the hotel, headed up stairs when the security guard asked me if I was certain of what I was getting. Decided it was best to talk to him for a moment. That decision saved me BIG TIME!!!!! As sweet as this gal looked she was born with some extra plumbing, plumbing I may not enjoy seeing or experiencing. When I questioned her she was honest and said it was true. Obviously had to pass then. Spoke to security a bit more to find out there was 3 more that hung around the park.

Has anyone go any first hand news about whats happening in Lima and Cuzco since the earthquake. CNN makes it sound like the whole of Lima is in ruins and no, I don't believe everything I see on TV especially CNN. I am thinking of going there in a few weeks, so some info would be nice.
By Copperfieldkid on Friday, August 17, 2007 - 10:01 am: Edit |
Yes, just got off phone with one of my local friends there: some minor damage, windows, etc in Lima, but all the major damage and deats occurred approx 90miles south where the quakes center was.
This damage I was more destructive due two the fact the quake was strongest there and the fact the houses are built with almost no reinforcement type construction. Many are literally shacks like those you see in Mexico.
In Lima blds swayed and windows popped out of various apts and buildings, but no real damage toi speak of.
I had just left Lima on Monday.

Thanks Copperfieldkid.
I was in Thailand a few weeks after the tsunami, and although we where in Pattaya which wasn't hit at all, the events in Phuket had a really negative effect on everyone’s moral. The whole country was in a state of grief. If the same "dark cloud" is hanging over Lima I think my trip there can wait.
By Eastcoastdude on Sunday, August 26, 2007 - 07:12 am: Edit |
FYI...........obviously Lima is a city but also what we call a state. the earthquake was to the southern part of the "state" and destroyed 2 cities (about 7,000 people) completely. Ica where the center was (125,000 people) is either 80% destroyed or condemned. The city of Lima suffered little damage with most to the north in Callao, which is the sea port for Lima. The rest of the city is business as usual.
I leaving Sept. 2 for another trip, anyone else going/interested. will visit Lima, Arequipa and cusco.

I saw some Peru video on telemundo this morning and the city they showed on TV seem to be a rather small city. But it looked pretty much beyond repair. I don't think you can compare the tsunami devastation with this quake.
By Isawal on Sunday, August 26, 2007 - 12:13 pm: Edit |
I am not comparing the devastation, I am just worried about people's attitude, especially the girls. I don't know about Lima but in some places a good portion of the working girls come from the country areas and small towns and a disaster like this quake can sit on their minds, making for a less then ideal mongering experience. It can also creep into other parts of the touring experience for better or worse as I am sure you are aware. I hope you will keep in touch during your travels, hopefully I am worrying for nothing.

To those who are considering a trip to Lima……….. just go. The city of Lima is fine. Ica, Paracas, Pisco is seriously F$%^ up Cusco is fine and felt little from the earthquake. Trujillo and Chiclayo suffered some damage. The action will be fine and business as usual. Peruvians are strong and resilient people. But………. In my many trips there the most valuable lesson I have learned. Peruvians are proud of their country. They are flattered and love it when a gringo is educated about their country and history. The more trips you made the more you look like a green card. Educate yourself on the history, be certain to let them know about the cities you have visited. After this type of conversation the cost of their services will come down, the quality up. Only exception is the hard core working gals. If you want to freelance or use the Internet 2 or 3 days of time together and your in. Might be some of the best sex you ever experienced. I have even spent time talking with gals on messenger and simply told them I wanted some adventure. We can meet, spend the afternoon together, have dinner. If you like me, then we can go to my hotel for some “intimacy”. Many times they agree and live to their word. Is a risk but you need to know Peruvian women are happiest when they are in the company of a man. Certainly if a man shows them respect and is a gentleman. If you take them traveling (which is good bate, but be honest ) it just gets better and better. They look out for you and don’t’ try and work you for much money. Maybe I’m not a true monger, but enjoy the quality instead of the quantity.

Thanks for the info. I have found all of this to be true. latinos are fiercely loyal to their country and are very patriotic. If you show respect and genuine interest in their culture they open up and show you a whole different side of tthemselves and that translates into some very hot sessions. Leave your american expectations home and jump in with both feet and embrace the country your in. I have an october trip scheduled for lima, I can't wait.

Thanks for the info I am now looking forward to my first trip to Peru without reservation.
I think its true of most working girls that if you act like a gentleman treat them like ladies you are richly rewarded. I will be in lima later this month but only for two nights, where would you suggest I go? Some info about the best places to monger and eat would be a great help.

ECD,
what you have written is dead on. I think this is one reason it is so easy to meet non-pros in Peru. I have had many excellent experiences for the very reasons you have stated: interest in their country, interest in them and their family, etc. Being a gentleman works on any Continent, and any country. Peruvians are proud of their country, especially since the recent naming of Machu Picchu to the Wonders of the World list.
By Eastcoastdude on Sunday, October 07, 2007 - 10:29 am: Edit |
It took 5 years, 13 trips and 11 cities (Lima, Paracas, Nasca, Cusco, Aquas Caliente, Trujillo, Chiclayo, Huancayo, Iquitos, Arequipa and Chivay) but I think I finally have Peru out of my system. It’s all good, but for myself not as good as it once was. If you read RTGooch’s report I’m the board member he met in his last trip. I appreciate the respect with not mentioning my name, but obviously it’s ok and should have told him it’s fine to say so.
To quote him “I picked up where you left off” and from what I have seen done a damn good job at discovering what I was certain was there. Wish I had more time to visit with him but had a special young lady I wanted to spend time with and travel plans. FYI, he a cool guy and certainly a good travel partner. What I was impressed most with was his enthusiasm/dedication or maybe determination to find all there is to know about Peru’s sex scene. I would only throw some advice or maybe challenge at him. What made Peru special (and much cheaper) to me was the non/semi pros that filled Tequila Rock and Pizza Alley. I don’t know where they went but am certain their still around Lima somewhere. Both places had a real bad reputation amongst the locals and surely why most stopped going. There were many “investigative reports” that reported on the girls, drugs and what was really happening in these places. Please don’t get me wrong, there’s still some good times to be found in Tequila Rock, but now Pizza Alley is only good for the variety and cheap food they offer. The Old Club, far end of the alley still has a few visit on occasion.
What drew me away form the clubs and spas was 2 words……aventura and liberal. I’ve said many times Peruvians are proud of their country and heritage. Many will tell you the country has too much corruption (from the President to the police walking the streets) and it’s seriously F$%^& up, but it’s MY country and I’m proud of it. This all worked well for me as when I travel it’s for the mom and pop tours, the girls just make it extra special and memorable.
Because of that pride they want to travel and see the sites, thus aventura (adventure). Look around on the Internet, contact some girls, your visiting Peru and looking to make new friends, invest some time chatting on messenger. There is no need to BS or blow smoke with these gals, in fact it’s advantageous for you to be completely honest. That honesty will gain their respect and trust. Remember, most Peruvian men have no respect for the women and play them big time. So that honesty is refreshing and what they desire, no matter what the reason. Be smart, respectful and work your way into hinting you might be interested in some aventura. If it’s your 2nd, 3rd trip be certain to tell them. That interest in their country will go a long way. The higher the numer of trips the easier it gets.
Liberal………. Simply tell them you tend to like girls who are rather liberal and looking for some aventura. They have no problem telling you how “liberal” they really are and they feelings about aventura or what type of aventura. Aventura with intimacy and aventura without intimacy, I NEVER used the word “SEX”. They will tell you how liberal they really are and if they like aventura. If you come across a girl who is liberal, it’s all good. If you find a girl who is very liberal it’s perfect. Meet a couple of girls who considered themselves very liberal and loved aventura. The aventura means their willing to travel with you, the very liberal means sex fast, REAL FAST. On 2 occasions I had girls meet me at the airport, 20 minute taxi ride to the hotel. We entered to room, off came the clothes, in the shower we went, once the shower is completed…………….
This may seem like o lot of time and effort, but well worth investing both. As you travel it’s all the sex when and where you want. They look out for you, to the point they will argue with taxi drover over 1 sole (33 cents) Never had one try to work me for expensive gifts or souvenirs.
Couple things to add about Iquitos. My best advice is visit during their winter. I was there in the spring and the heat was nearly brutal. Iquitos has a reputation for under aged girls and their trying hard to stop it. Be certain the girl has ID. All Peruvians must have photo ID, it’s the law. If she doesn’t have ID she’s surely under aged. It’s second hand information, but did hear of a couple of traps for tourists. It becomes necessary to “BUY” their silence or they will contact the police and trust me you don’t want this. You’ll still be able to buy your way out of this but will cost you a few trips to the ATM machine. The other is a little embarrassing and had a security guard at the hotel save me, saved me BIG TIME. Like most cities in Lima girls will hang around the Plaza de Armas. In Iquitos they were very low quality until my last night there. Thought I had FINALLY scored, seriously scored. Gal was sweet and built. She could run with any girl at any place, just so sweet I wanted to run to the hotel. As we were walking up the stairs the security guard asked “gusto muchacha” I just grinned until he said “mala sorprese” (bad surprise) now he had my attention. I walked down to have a conversation with him. Seems the gal had some extra plumbing, plumbing I might not enjoy. I asked her if it was true and she said yes!!!! Needless to say it ruined my evening. More conversation with him and he informed me there was 3 others that hung around the park.
I would encourage everyone to make at least 1 trip to Peru and even more travel around the country. It’s beautiful, exciting and has much to offer in tourism and night life.

Bringing Cigarettes Back Into the USA
RT here.
If you're a smoker, you know how expensive cigarettes are here in the USA. They are much less expensive in Lima. I am not a smoker, but I have a friend who smokes, and he asked me to bring some back with me.
A carton of Marlboro lights cost me 65 sols in Vivanda last week. That calculates down to just under $23. I purchased one carton.
I got secondaried at customs when I got home, and the woman running the x-ray machine asked me how many cigarettes I had in my suitcase. I told her one carton, and she told me to have a nice day.
I asked her what the rule was, telling her I didn't know and only bought one to play it safe. She told me that it recently changed from two cartons down to one (200 cigarettes). I asked what would happen if I had more than one with me.
She said that if I got caught, the customs inspector could send me to pay the duty on any cartons over the first one. The duty, she said, was around $10.25 per carton.
With cigarettes running at least $5 a pack here (much more in many states), even with the duty, it could help both support your smoking habit and offset some of the costs of your trip.
By Gurock1 on Friday, June 18, 2010 - 07:13 pm: Edit |
Hey RT,
I knew these rules and have brought home ten cartons from most trips. About three months worth. In Asia they are even cheaper about $15.00 a carton. Good info
By Gooch, RTGooch on Friday, June 18, 2010 - 09:33 pm: Edit |
They could be cheaper elsewhere. Stuff in Vivanda costs more than anywhere else in the city. But they are on my corner; I don't even have to cross the street to get there.
I will ask around next time and see.

RT,
The same happen to me also, 6 months ago I was
bringing two cartons, when they asked me I told
them about it, and I have no problems. A better
price is around the Surquillo dairy market where
I got for 52 soles ($18.50).

I travel 2 sometimes 3 times a year, Costa Rica, Peru, Colombia, Brazil and Argentina. The list of countries would be much longer but I could not get Peru out of my blood. It was easily the best bang for your buck. If I was to make a list of my best nights, the list would be long before another country appeared. That was then and this is now. I can now add Peru to the TOP of my WORST nights. How can a place go from such a gem to the bottom of the list in such a short time? Simply put. I’m done with TR. You’re better off hitting the night clubs, it might be a little more expensive but with my experience the service is much better.
My worst night Gal said she was from Colombia, tall thin nice breasts. Definitely in the top class. I almost fell off the bar stool when she asked 500 soles, but she told me she had only been in Peru 1 week so maybe the price was ignorance. So we finally agred to $120 American, much to my surprise BBBJ and photos. Once we arrived at the apartment she asked for her money, normally not a problem here (sorry living in the past) She looked at me and said we agred to 500 soles. My first thought was send her away, maybe settle for a cold shower. It took a few minutes to finally agree again. A little voice was screaming to send her away, should have listened. Not only did I not get a BBBJ I go NO ORAL SEX at all. She just kept saying, mi no gusta. Too late now, just get what I could. The sex was decent and when we finished it was time for photos. Once aging I did not understand, she would not allow photos. Well the final nail had been driven in TR. Sent her off.
FYI, I think I know part of the problem. It’s the Peruvian economy. They have experienced between 7 and 9 percent growth in each of the last 5 or 6 years. All the semi/non pros are gone. That is where the best experience was and surely they helped keep the prices down. Other problem is the suits in Peru. Numerous times I have seen them talk with a gal for awhile, slip her 100 soles and onto the next. So the top class can earn decent money and never leave the bar. Most of these guys also think it gives them the right to paw the girls. Seen it many times, just reach over and grab a hand full. They act like they don’t like it, but they know the money is to follow.
It hurts to say but I’m done with TR and I strongly suggest not wasting your time. I sent a photo to RTGouch to post. Surely his posts get more attention than mine nowadays, if you see her stay away!!!!
