ok talking about taking one for the team...but there were 6 of us that took it for the board..this place still has no lineup...sorry guys no elusive 10s hanging out here...ok not even 7s....I would have given one girl an 8 in the face..and another an 8 in the body but its just not here...sad thing as we were all leaving they were all "singing please dont go"..almost felt guilty..

Sooo bad. Rio Antigo is problably the strangest termas in Rio. It changes completely from time to time. It was simply fantastic mid-december. That means only 1 month. The place was empty what led me to think about how long that selection could last. Absolutely perfect facilities, good management but lacks the most important. That sounds strange to me.

Had to be the quickest turn around I've ever seen...we must of been in and out in less than 10 minutes. Such a great place facility wise it's sad to see such a poor lineup. 1st time I've ever left a terma with just a cover and beer on my ticket.

It looks nice from the outside and I went in with a big disappointment.
There were only about 15-20 girls and maybe 2 were worth going for but had attitude problems.
So finished my chopp and left to 4x4 to let out the previous letdown.

I must agree on the relative poverty of the lineup at Rio Antigo. I was there toward the end of Dec.(was that only a month ago? I feel as if I have been out of Rio for a year.)However, patience paid off and I did hook up with a wonderful lady named Lara. When she walked in it was like a swan among crows. she moved with grace and class and was as different fom the other girls as she could be. Definately a diamond in the rough and one of my best experiences of the trip. At least it was possible to see the girls and check them out...unlike the incredible crush of evening 4x4. The transvestite stroll outside the club also provides a point of interest for the casual observer.Not something opne sees just anywhere.

What's the current prices for this place?
Also, is this a good last stop workout, before the airport?

I will never go to this terma again and advised all my friends against going.
first, the selection was not great this place actually had some heavy girls in there like over 160-170lbs. I was there this week and this place was so bad it took me two hours to pick a 6. the reason for me staying was two of my monger buddies were busy. I took this garota in for a 40 min session, since she was only a 6 and most likely the best one in the house. As we were getting busy, she didn't know how to arch her rear while on pounding her from the behind, resulting for her ass to drop and I would repeatly tell her to bring it up again.
After the fourth time I told her that her sexo was no Bom, and she was pissed and got dressed. I told her I had 15 minutes left and she grined and walked out. so I showered up and went straight to the front to speak with management. Instead of the accurate way with the phone system as other termas, they have a hand writted log book, and it read exactly 40 minutes I had with this girl. I mean it read, I checked in 22:05 and out at 22:45 (yeah, I can really time my loads) of course after five minutes, management took her side and told me my balance was somewhere around $R240.
Standing there paying $R240 without shooting anything is really a bitch.

I agree with Ceenotes...Rich and I were there in March 03 and while the physical facility is the best among ALL the Termas, the selection was pretty much of a yawner, with the exception of one blond with enormous natural honkers. They also have a "frequent f***er" program...after "x" visits you get a freebie

The "VIP" program will entitle you to free drinks once you have visited enough times to accumulate the points. The garotas arent included as prizes.

The blonde SFHonmbre referred to is Patricia and she is awesome. There are two girls prettier than her, I rate them a solid very high, Vanusa and Razia. In terms of performance Raiza and Patricia are rock stars. They were probably in Cabines when Ceenotes was there.

This was probably my favorite termas as far as facilities were concerned. I loved the steam room there and the shower area was top notch. The relax/tv room was on the smallish side though. The boate was pretty cool with girl dancing on the bar and the suites were quite nice and very spacious. The biggest knock I have against the place was the talent level.

I did end up doing three girls there, however. But I had to look very hard and long to find acceptable talent and actually had to lower my standards for one.

Priscilla was good looking and she was an excellent session. She liked it rough with ass slapping and hair pulling.

Rafaella's face was not that great, but her body was fantastic and the session was very good.

Bruna was also a good session there. I thought she was cute even though her body was not the best. She had some stretch marks, etc. But the overall session was very good and she kissed rather nicely. We also made out downstairs for a good hour before going up and she never bugged me or pressured me to take her up.

Rio Antiguo does have the nicest and the newest facilities, as it was re-modeled 2/3 years ago.

I also sessioned with a Bruna over two year's ago. The one I knew just had a baby. As she is married to a lowly airport cop, maybe she has returned to work? She is a very sweet garota. If I lived in Brasil, I think I could of stole her from her husband? Next month when I'm back in Rio I will call her on her cellular to see what's up?

I understand Rio Antigo is closed or about to close. Any truth to that rumor??

It was reported by GCL on the SA board that as of Friday, March 26th, Rio Antigo was closed.

Some consider this no great loss. I found two doables there and always had a good time. I hope they get their problems straightened out so they can re-open. I really liked the atmosphere and facilities this placed offered.

RioAntigo reopened a few days after the closure. I have not been in there since October so dont have any idea if the talent is any better.

I had a garota, bail out on me in 30 min and management didn't care. These guys didn't take a dollar off the bill or taken off my bottle of water. I told management that I was going back to copa, and tell all the mongers of what had happen. Now I can email them and insult.

Update on Rio Antigo: I was there yesterday and while it is a very nice Terma and the facilities are excellent the Garotas still are less than desireable. There were about 20 to 30 girls and only some were attractive. Mostly Brazilian men there. If they upgraded the quality of the girls this would be a great Terma. - Hemp

Despite Hemps review above i ventured here last night for the first time in a while. i agree with his assessment that the facilities are excellent, some of the best in rio, on par with or better than 65. additionally, the management is very friendly and gave me 5 coupons for free entrance when i left. they also have a waiter who speaks some of the best english i have heard in rio, and the dj is great (he plays a lot of pagode, 80s rock, and modern stuff). the dj sold me a pagode mix cd he created for 5 reais and it actually plays, good guy.

however, the girls are a step below all of the major termas. about 20-30 girls, maybe 5 brazilian guys. 5-6 of the girls are very hot but are about 30-35 years old, in their prime they must have been some of the best looking girls in rio (but in case some of you guys have milf fantasies this might be the place for you). there were two decent looking girls there last night and i went with both. however, both girls would not have ranked in the top 10 at solarium, 4x4, centaurus, or 65 in my opinion (overall the quality of the average woman there is lower than monte carlo which is pretty low in my opinion). on the positive side, i found the girls to be very friendly, not pushy, and not in a rush to session. during the session they were very attentive and the sex was great. the place also opens early (2pm) and closes early (midnight). on wednesdays they have live music also and evidently it gets pretty crowded.

in conclusion, i agree with hemps comments above, if they upgraded the quality of the women here this would be one of the best termas considering the facilities, location, and how friendly the management and employees are.

I liked the facility too, if not the staff (in Dec.). When leaving Rio Antigua, don't pick up any of the beautiful garotas outside: they may not be female. (No, I didn't find out the hard way, like I did in Thailand).

Rio Antigo update: I was there yesterday with a few Hombre friends and the talent appears to be still about the same but there were a few pretty nice ones. Would you believe I even sessioned with a brunette - go figure! Still if this Terma had the talent because of the nice facilities it could be the premier Terma in Rio in my opinion.- Hemp

just a comment but I had the best sexual experience of my life in this terma the other night, and took the same girl to vips for a couple hours on saturday. that being said, the girl was older and not that great looking, but she was absolutely amazing in terms of sexual skill. unfortunately i don't remember her name.

one thing that was unusual is that in the room after blowing me for 15 minutes and rubbing her crotch against my leg, she immediately jumped on top of my dick without a condom and this was the first time i had ever seen her in my life, pretty weird. i got her off pretty quick but it was still unusual.

If what Athos read is true, it doesn't give a whole lot of comfort about the whole scene in Rio. If anyone has more info, it certainly would be helpful and informative.

I should add that one of the concerns is the mayor of Rio is a fundamentalist Christian (or so I heard) who does not approve of termas, etc. People have taken as an article of faith (not the fundamentalist Christian type of faith) he couldn't get away with going too far with his agenda, but who really knows, particularly given the recently passed law against postcards of garotas in bathing suits on Copacabana or Ipanema beach? I've said this before, but who would have ever thought we would long for the days when the Catholic Church controlled things in Brazil?

I hope this turns out to be less than Athos's post suggests but unfortunately U.S. style thinking about these sorts of matters may not be restricted to the U.S.

Maybe Athos was thinking of Bonanio instead, which was raided by cops a few months ago? Rio Antigo is in the Lapa free-fire zone, so I can't imagine the cops having any interest in the place unless they stopped paying their kickbacks. They only get gringos in there every now and again, so the cops would only be pissing off Brasilian businessmen if they tried to fuck with the place.

Well I just read it today on another board, Rio Antigo got raided and all customers and girls got arrested. Supposedly police was on strike or something and they got mad, not sure how this is related to a brothel. Local brasileiros even avoided 4x4 the next day.

The asshole-for-a-governor in Rio is a woman, but she's the wife of the former govenor (who couldn't serve an additional term) and pretty much carries out his wishes. Both of the Garotinhos are fundamentalist Pentacostals. This is the same person who led the effort to ban postcards with photos of nearly-bare bundas. With all the crime in Rio (her husband is head of security, I believe), Rosinha should be attending to violence, not pussy. Ironically, her hubby, Anthony, would like to run against Lula, but the crime problem in Rio has completely undermined his potential as a candidate. I guess that's the only upside of Rio's crime problem...

All I can say is THANK YOU GOD! I could not stop thinking about that girl, and I could've easily had been there that day. And being that I had four straight days of work starting saturday, I would've seriously had been fucked! Once again, THANK YOU GOD!

The mayor, Cesar Maia, is a right wing fundamentalist pig as well, but has focused his efforts on crime (sending the military into the favelas and such) rather than on sex. He could be behind this, though, as he wants to challenge Lula and is looking for an angle. The termas closings and raids in VM sound more like the work of the Garotinhos, but I haven't seen anything linking anyone to the actions.

In the end these efforts will fail. Corrupt police and market demand will win the day.

I was there last month. The talent was not as good as the other major termas, but the facility was very nice.Jaqueline the former Luomos massuer is there and still gives great massages.I forgot the prices there, but they had a special going on last month.

From what I have heard, Rio Antigo is closed. When I passed by there recently the sign was gone and it seemed closed to me as well.

It's been closed for a year. Apparently the management at 4X4 bought all the old robes from Rio Antigo. Last time I was at 4X4 many of us were given Rio Antigo robes. The robes were very small and revealing. I complained but the bitch in the locker room wouldn't give me another robe.

We all really miss Sylvia, don't we? Her first replacement was ok, the new troll needs to go back to the brasilero locker room. She's fucking horrible, stupid and slow and a gigantic waste of space. Thursday, I ended up digging in the robe closet in the hallway to find one.
