Batman, Santa Cruz is great but you have to have a connection to get to the hot girls. I went there this July and was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the girls were. There were many girls that "were not prostitutes" but would hang out with you if the price was right. In the end the girls all fucked me and my friends brains out. My guide was co-owner of the modeling agency in Santa Cruz (you may see the place just oustide the city with huge posters of all the models on the outside) and he set up a private party for us. I ended up hooking up with a drop-dead gorgeous swimsuit model and telenovela actress for free- no mention of money- she just got the hint that I was a well-to-do and adventurous American bachelor. So it is possible to have the time of your life but it helps to get the inside track somehow. I don't know anything about brothels and street girls- as we never explored that route (didn't need to) but I would say it is worth the trip. To answer your question directly- the girls I saw were more beautiful than Mexicanas- no fat - and very sophisticated looking. Bledsoe...sorry dude, but I don't get there until 11.11.02. However, here is what I found out from a very recent traveler to Bolivia. YOU WILL NOT GO WRONG WITH ANY CHICA THAT WORKS IN A MODELING AGENCY! I emphasize this, because he was batting .1000 every time he walked to a fashin agency and met some chicas eager to practice their English....actually, I got the impression that non-pro action is relatively EASY in Bolivia...75% of girls that you see at nite-clubs are looking for a good-time and will most likely be pros, but consider themselves "good girls". They are very forward and will not be ashamed to tell you right off the bat what their intentions are. He also recommended, and I know this may sound different, but getting a t-shirt with the US flag on it. Every time he wore that, it was guaranteed to have at least 3 girls approach you. They are really eager to meet an American to have a good time with and give them a "gift" of 50USD. He showed me some very nice pictures..regardless I will post my findings when I get back....

I was in Bolivia earlier this year if you have any input on places in Bolivia like the jungle in the Beni department or Tarija PLEASE Post it. What about the border cities on Brazil? Any Updates on sex clubs in La paz? What about Rurrenbeque? I think there is a city called Cobija too?

I think given some consideration to Bolivia is worth the time and money. still, need to do some homework and look for a place to stay in La Paz and Santa Cruz. probably, the ideal place would be to rent an apartment. you'd get more privacy and freedom to bring any girl for the night. I was there, but, it was years ago when i was a teen and had different expectations. my spanish is impecable and will share my findings. one observation; that web site amigos.com is a paid one. you have to pay before you can contact anybody. personally don't think is neccesary and just another way to part with your money, of course, it just my own believe, for what is worth!!!

I live in Bolivia about 6 months out of every year. Most cities in Boliva have you local hooker bars where it will cost you usually between 60-100US for one hour. These places are notorious to take advanage of Gringos who have had too much to drink so be carefull, they will overcharge you, short change you or just not return with your change for drinks. The girls range from skanky to ok.

The next way to find women is through the newspaper in the classified. Look for Damas de Companions. Usually 40usd for an hour or two, women are usually college students,and will come to your hotel. this is a very safe way to monger.

the 3 way is to ask any cab driver where the Casa de Putas is. Every Bolivian city will have multiple whore houses with around 5 to 15 women. These houses will have a red light on the second story to let everybody know what they are. It will cost you 20usd and the girls will range from 5-10s. This is the best way to go, you can have a couple of drinks, meet some other men, usually most of the upperclass men who want to be your friend because your american.

I love Bolivia and Bolivian women are very affectionate and hotblooded.

The women of santa cruz are usually a little bit darker and hotter. The is a joke in Bolivia that if you are a women without a kid by 20 in Santa Cruz you are an old maid.

I live in Cochabamba and the women here are great. The women in La Paz are ok but some of them smell bad from the water shortage in La Paz and they don't like to take showers. I could not find much information on Bolivia on this board beside this thread which kind of surprised me. Is it not a good place for the hobby and to visit? I have been communicating with an amiga from Santa Cruz for a few months and I guess it is time to take the next step and visit her over there. From the photos and camera chats she looks like a model material but when I did some research on the Internet the Bolivian girls did not seem to impress me. So if there are any experienced hombres out there on this board please share your experiences and general observation of Bolivia and Santa Cruz. I spent 3 months in Santa Cruz during the summer of 2004. I though the Chica's were hot! One place to go is called "Curries" and the other club is called "Ceasars Palace" rates were around $60-$100 USD for all night, of course these are the higher end types.

I am heading back down at the end of December so I will hopefully post a full report.

I would think that $100 is an outrageous price. My partner from Costa Rica has a condo there and he tells me all the time how half the country is starving since the DEA used Agent Orange on the central valley to kill the Coca plants and basically defoliated EVERYTHING!

Hey and considering my ex-wife is from bolivia and she told me that lunch in bolivia would cost the equivalent of $1.00 US dollar, there is no way I would pay $100 for pussy down there. Just my opinion!

Bolivia is an extremely poor country and has been going back way before this DEA stuff. $100 is an outrageous amount to pay for a fuck there.

One qualification I'll make to these opinions about $100.00 being alot of cash in Bolivia (and I'm talking specifically Santa Cruz): I noticed from my time there that there are alot of wealthy foreigners travelling to Santa Cruz for work. Farming and heavy equipment guys, natural gas "oilman" types, etc. I was amazed that even though the country is poor, there was alot of rich businessmen throwing money at the hottest girls in town. A good friend of mine lives in SC for half the year and attests to this as well. I suppose for the average girls $100 is a mountain of cash, but there is another tier of chicas that is used to alot more than that.

So, it comes down to the pesky foreigners driving up the price of cuchy...

The "Top End" Clubs will try to get $100+ from you if you are foreign. You can get top notch chica all nighter fro about $40.

I will post a trip report and hopefully have pics as well. Bolivia is a nice country to visit and I think it is often overlooked. Anyone else going down that way anytime soon?

Same point can be made in any country in this part of the world. In Brazil a laborer, sweeping streets, unloading trucks, clerking in a shop is about 10R per day, $4 by current xchange rate. A schoolteacher may make about 2R more. Rates will be a little higher in the big cities.
And those Help hos getting 200R+ per night...

I think if I was an average man in one of these countries, I'd really resent us "rich foreigners" coming in and paying these prices.

I had a great time last week! The latest: Curries and Ceasars Palace are the biggest strip clubs in town (another one is called Coffee Shop near the downtown area) the going rate was around $100 but you can talk them down to $50. Girls were mostly 7-8's with a few 10's.

The one thing in the news article that I found interesting is the following: ". . . authorities decided to close more than a thousand houses of prostitution in El Alto".

Either the writer or the authorities are exaggerating the numbers or else Bolivia is (or was) a whoremongers' paradise. If anyone has first-hand knowledge about this neighborhood of La Paz, I'd be interested in knowing if the "THOUSAND" brothels is fact or fiction.

LA PAZ (AFP) — Hundreds of outraged prostitutes are ready to fight a morality campaign targeting their trade by marching nude in the streets of Bolivia's capital, a spokeswoman said Thursday.

The threat comes after angry mob on Wednesday destroyed bars and brothels in El Alto, a suburb near La Paz.

After the violence, authorities decided to close more than a thousand houses of prostitution in El Alto.

Lily, speaking on behalf of the prostitutes, warned that prostitutes would "march nude in the streets of La Paz" and threatened to forsake checks from health authorities.

"Our businesses are burned and we are left in the street, our money is stolen and we are beaten," Lily told local television, adding "they want to deprive us of our source of income."

Local press reported a prostitute was beaten by the mob on Wednesday, stripped of her clothes and robbed of some 300 Bolivianos (40 dollars), her earnings for the night.

For three days, about 30 bars and more than a dozen brothels have been ransacked and furniture torched, said Ronald Perez, a security official.

Organizers of the morality campaign have demanded the mayor close several hundred illegal brothels and enforce a ban on minors visiting them. The activists have also called for ensuring the houses of prostitution operate a good distance from churches, schools and hospitals.

The police have sent in reinforcements to the turbulent area but the campaign has spread to other towns and provinces.

La Paz (LPB), elev 13200 ft. Went to 25 p4p places, very low prices from us$4 at low end apts to us$30 hr at the high end clubs. Local papers La Razon 25 photo ads in paginas azules, Extra El Diario Popular 33 photo ads, most pics fake but some claim 'fotos 100% real'. Tunguruhua's LPB list had 70 p4p establishments.
