I was there about two months ago. I thought the lineup was reasonable (quantity and quality) and the service was as usual. This could have changed over two months or so. I'll check it out next time I'm in town.

This place is not worth the effort. I have been twice. The first time I met Reneta. The service was great, but after the expensive taxi ride and the time spent going and coming from the place, was just not worth it. The second day was a terrible time, eventhough she was attractive. I know it was not me, as I talked to some guys out at the desk and they said if you are looking for GFE or anything close there were only a few girls that did it. Reneta being the best of the bunc. Bottomline is this place is too far, coupled with taxi cost, not worth it. Save your money and go to Bomboa or Cafe Foto

How can you knock a place based on distance (transport time, cost of taxi)? What if you're apartment/hotel is close?

And then you follow with 'save your money and go to Foto?' There's no way a session experience of Foto can be less expensive than the R90 special at Antares - unless you're taking a taxi frmo the north side in rush hour.

Antares doesn't have as pretty of girls as Photo, but for many there is one pretty enough (see them in advance at the website, reserve her in advance) to warrant the visit, especially as a day option and if you're staying reasonably close or know how to use the subway.

My point is I value my time. You are right, if you are near by its not bad at all, Renata was great. My point about about going to Cafe Photo, is that I rather save on not going in the afternoon for a massage and put it towards Bomboa or Cafe Foto. I am a reasonalbe guy, but I walked away thinking it was not worth it. Plus, I did not use the Metro, that could have made a differance, as the taxi thing was a big factor of not wanting to go back.

The metro practically takes you to the doorstep (actually a five minute walk); costs around 60 cents (U.S); you're not fighting traffic to get there; and gets you there quickly if you are starting near a metro line.

Metro one-way tix costs 1.90R
A round-trip tix (multiplo 2) costs 3.60R

If convenient, use the Metro. And save the extra Reais for hobbying:-)

Metro is the best in SP. You get to see the most beautiful girls, going to school or work. The gp's are nowhere near the most attractive. Metro and Paulista make SP imho, garotas pay attention to you unlike in Rio where you are marked as a hombre.
From Paulista, Antares is 15/20 min commute. Of course if you stay near Moema, everything is going to be far.

Typically, at the massage places, such as Antares or Zen, those garotas who do anal will ask for about R$100 extra. Usually (but with limited experience at these places) I negotiate it down to about R$60, as you did.

The R$130 price at Antares applies to sessions before 5 p.m. Afterwards, the price goes up to R$150. Completo (or completa) in Sao Paulo at the massage places is not the same as in Rio. It means sex is included and there are no extra charges for "regular" sex, unlike some of the other massage parlors in SP where you are required to negotiate with the garotas for the sex (on top of the general massage session fee). Everything you report, other than specifics about particular garotas, is consistent with my experience.
