What can one say about the wonder and beauty of the girls in Rio. Well, based on the number of posts on the subject...quite a lot. However I wanted to offer something a little different from the usual Rio travel report which I have read (and written)so often.

Things I love about Brazilian Women

1)Their numbers: The sheer volume of attractive, available women is staggering. Rio seems to have an endless supply. There are always more girls around than anyone can take advantage of and the stream seems to be never ending. Even the termas have a big turnover. I would estimate about 50% every 6 months.

2) The variety of venue: The beaches, the termas, Help, the boites, the agencies,nightclubs,Rio Sul, etc. Available women are everywhere you look and each venue yeilds its own excitement and challange.

3) The physical variety of the women:There is a size and color and temprement to please everyone. I have heard of clubs around the world which offer this kind of variety, but I doubt if any other place offers this citywide like Rio.

4)Their attitudes towards casual sex:Even when it is about money, it rarely seems to be JUST about money. These girls range from frisky and playful to incredibly enthusiastic. They epitomize professionalism in the best sense of the word and I have rarely detected any trace of guilt.

5)Their smiles: It is difficult to convey the full effect of the Brazilian smile on men who are used to the cold and disdainful attitudes of many American women. The effect is certainly heightened by their fabulous mouths...broad with full lips and excellent teeth.

6)Their eyes: Another aspect of that spectacular smile. Often they are the most unusual or starling colors and I often feel as though I might fall right in if I am not careful.

7) The Bunda: Words cannot express the wonder of the Brazilian ass...So, I will not try. Instead, I will offer these photos gleaned from (mostly) my Dec 02 and March 03 trips. I hope you guys enjoy. It would be interesting for me to see which ones appeal to my peers.(note: I am including the photos by email to hombre with the intention that they will add them to this report.)

yup, brazilians girls are great. their attitudes are probably the best thing about them. but they are also tempermental in my opinion, and since they like talking so much, hard to keep up with them with my improving but still shitty portuguese.

I've been emailing with a guy who was considering a trip to Rio but was leaning towards CR because he'd been told you got more "bang for the buck" there. I had to disagree most strongly, and the real issue is attitude. The typical working girl in the rest of Latin America has a decent attitude, but the oppressive legacy of Latin American Catholic sexual guilt pops up constantly. Most of these girls believe that what they are doing is "wrong," a "sin," but they do it because they need to.

The Catholic legacy in Brasil is quite different, and as a consequence, sex is viewed not solely as a means for procreation, but also--and maybe primarily-- as a source of pleasure. I have had many discussions with Brasilieras about sexual pleasure--a discussion I've never had with other Latinas--and it's clear to those who have been with the working girls in Brasil that most are as interested in getting themselves off as they are in getting you off.

Cuba is the other exception in Latin America, and here the explanation for the better attitude is the same, I believe: the lack of influence of Catholicism in contemporary Cuba.

But I have to second your remark. The attitude about sex is night and day from any other part of the world. It's just not a job for these girls. Many of them love what they do.

I would hope that a few of these look familiar. I have included girls that have been the subject of much discussion in these pages. What I love is the fact that there can be so much variety and yet, each is fantastic in her own particular way. If one factor can be said to raise Brazil above my much beloved Thailand it is the consistent magnificence of the Brazilian bunda.
Actually, I find the Bhuddist attitude of the Thais to be lacking in guilt as well, although the Brazilieras manage a greater degree of enthusiasm. Brazilieras have no problem taking responsibility for their own pleasure and driving the encounter toward their own volcanic orgasms. No Asian passivity for these girls.

You're right about the Buddhist attitudes. Guilt is not a big part of Buddhist culture, but neither is pleasure. Duty to family is, and is why many of the girls there do what they do. So while you don't get the guilt. you don't get the flat-out enthusiasm either. I love the sweetness of many of the Thai girls, but I love the sexual aggression of the Brasilieras even more.

Exactly my attitude in re the Brazil/Thailand question.
You may find this interesting. This last visit I was lucky enough to hook up with a young Braziliera who had spent time in Thailand and been trained in Thai massage. Good by any lights,but ,to make my story better, this girl also worked at Centaurus and approached me outside of Help after having seen me in the terma. Does it get any better than that?

I'm coming in on the "tail end" of this conversation. The homage is spectacular. The discussion of Buddhism/Thai girls vs. Brazilieras is interesting. There are many paths to nirvana, as evidenced by The_Artist's photos.

Good question. I think it's ... rejecting Judeo-Christian ethics. Or, at least, twisting them into a much more "biological" frame of mind. I kinda like what the ancient Greeks seem to have had going on -- free sex fer everyone, as long as you're a wealthy land-owner and male (oh, and no, I don't prefer to swing both ways), and they count as largely Judeo-Christian. So, maybe, our current assumption that J-C means "morally priggish, like the Puritans" is the problem; maybe J-C can mean all sorts of other open-minded things that aren't currently hot debate topics merely because they've been forgotten in the fervor to proclaim (by the Right) or deride (by the PC Left) moral imperialism of the typical United Statian bent.

I think my point is that Judeo Christian ethics (this should probably be morals rather than ethics, but I was using a quote) do not allow for healthy sexual expression except within the exceptionaly narrow confines of a church sanctioned marriage (and barely there).The entire tradition is heavily anti-female, and I would suggest that any "healthy" sex life might include an acceptance of the female principle as well as the male. Intense repression is not likely to lead to health.

Reality check...those guys were Pagan with a capital P, and they had ample room in their divine pantheon for females and for sex...two things which the Judeo-Christian dogma notably lacks.

Indeed I took all of these pics except one. That one was taken in my bed so i felt it was OK to include it. That one and the girl on the beach are the only ones that I have not personally enjoyed. I'm not exactly sure of the count but I think about 75% were anal as well. Damn, I love these girls. Some questions I will answer...some I will not.
I think it is more fun not to identify the pics. Those who are experienced enough will be able to make their own IDs. Those who are not can enjoy a hunt and match game of their own.

Money: I live in south Florida and I can almost always find net fares under $500. My last trip was an American Airlines flight bought one week in advance for $521 which was offset by a $500 voucher which I got from a voluntary bump during another trip. Net cost: $21.

Lodging:I own an apartment in Copacabana so lodging doesn't cost me anything (or $75 K...depending on how you look at it.)If you budget $50 a day for lodging you should be OK. There are many hotels and apartments available and you can easily get something for that.

Food: $0...I always forget to eat. Rio is the best diet I know of. I always lose weight when i am in town. If,however, you decide to eat you can easily get by on $20 a day and eat well. (I cheat by bring a case of power bars which get me by and keep me going).

Pharmacological and herbal supplements: Widely variable. Viagra is great for those who need it and it is locally available for about $10 a 100mg dose.Trips to Rio tend to be somewhat taxing and a little vitamin V can come in handy.
At any rate a little advance regimine of supportive herbs and vitamins prior to the trip is a good idea. Some mongers take this phase VERY seriously and go into training before the trip. It all depends on your level of commitment.

Money for girls: The most variable of all. An average terma trip can cost less than 200R ($66 US)or you can blow the budget and go crazy...I ran up tabs north of 800R a few times last trip. There are also cheaper termas downtown where sessions can be had for $60R and Villa Mimosa offers short sessions for about $10 US, but most people do not consider these venues in their normal planning. Girls at Help and at the cafes can be found for under 200R but you can be safe if you plan $100US per day on average. This will cover a new hot girl each day and the occasional indulgence.

So, If you spend $500 on plane fare, $50 a day on lodging, $20 a day on food, and $100 a day on women, you can have a jammin' trip of 10 days for $2200.Where else can one find that kind of deal?
It's really hard to make these estimates. Rio is the type of place where one can spend a moderate amount or splurge shamelessly.Fortunately, the current exchange puts Rio in range for most Americans. I hope this exchange rate holds up.

The pics on your homepage are fantastic. What kind of camera did you use. Do you have any photography training or are you just a natural? I wish my pics came out as good as yours.

I think any virtue in these pictures ( other than the obvious beauty of the girls) comes from the cropping. Picture composition is something i have studied and I guess some of it is natural. ( As my handle implies, I am a professional artist.) The camera is nothing special. All of these photos were taken at lowest resolution on an old 1.0 megapixle Hewlett Packard digital with automatic focus and flash.I simply dropped these pics into photoshop and cropped them to focus on the bunda.

Thanks artist. Invaluable material. I get the shakes just looking at all the Rio babes that you've posted. I can't seem to locate a website for RioTrips. Do they have a website, (and if so, care to pass along a URL?)

riotrips does not have a website. They are far too relaxed for that. They do have an email address( riotrips@hotmail.com ) and one can usually get them to answer a message there. Karl or Don are the guys you need to talk to. If you fail to reach them before your trip and still wish to get in touch you can probably just drop by Restaurant Alcazar (on Ave. Atlantica beside Hotel Debret...1 block south of Help Disco) and look for a group of cigar smoking gringos.
If you choose to go it on your own you should be fine with a minimum of common sense and the information available on this site. A close perusal of Bwana Dik's Rio guide will get you through most situations. Try to get hold of some basic Portuguese tapes (Plimseur is recomended) and get a few basic phrases. Without language skills the termas are your best bet. There is always someone there who speaks English when the need arises.
Don't worry, Rio is fairly easy to navigate and this site provides you with everything you really need. Of course, the guys from riotrips make things sooo much easier and more fun. Highly recommended for a maiden voyage...especially when the language skills are weak. IMHO

I just can't seem to stop myself. Could this obsessiveness with the Bunda be a thinly veiled cry for help? A little more ass...

Bayboy, if you are referring to the hookers, then yeah, they'll pretty much to whatever you want and even enjoy doing it with you.

If you're referring to normal chicks, Brazilian garotas are a lot more liberal sexually than American girls, but Brazil is such a big country you can't really generalize. They'll definitely make out with you on a whim (ficar), but one night stands IMO are LESS COMMON in Brazil than the U.S. That's not to say you're not going to get some after the 2nd or 3rd date though...

Belo and Fortaleza story makes sense. Both cities boast the greatest disparity between men and women (about 130-140k more) in the country. My experience in Belo was really good, although the city itself is a little boring. My experience at the BH mall was asking for directions, and ended up meeting 2 teenage girls who were curious about where I was from and seemed fairly open to hanging out.
