Tuesday night will be tough. There's action, but it's all pay-for-play stuff. The malls will be open but limited hookup potential (still possible).

Go to the "El Pais" (newspaper) website. Scour the classifieds. Pros are there and you can call ahead, if that's what you want.

BE EXTREMELY CAREFUL about pros on the street. Better yet, avoid them completely especially if you've had a couple beers.

Hey dude wassup...I spoke with my Cali chic about reasonable hotels. She gathered some info for me, amd will let me know today. Otherwise, I will look to you for some help when you get there about where evryone is staying. It Would be cool if the group of us stayed at the same hotel...I always find myself needing a wingman to handle my novias' friends in Cali.

I can't wait to get back to cali..I hve arellay good felling that this is going to be a very fun trip since so many of us are going.

I have been in Cali now for a week. Haven't sampled any pro talent as mi Espanol is still weak. Any suggestions for handling contacts with the pros from the classifieds in "El Pais"

The first suggestion I can make is NEVER, EVER EVER PAY IN US CURRENCY! PESOS ONLY!

2. Never pay more than 198,000 pesos for a chica (70USD) and this is for a top model chica that looks liek Shakira..if you pay more than this - she saw you coming a mile away!

3. Always suggest paying 1/2 now 1/2 later if her session is good...or give her an incentive of a tip no more than 10USD if her perfomance is good.

4. These girls know you are a gringo and will charge you gringo rates...whatever a girl charges you..divide it by 2 and counter-offer be firm but gentle and you will have a good time.

5. Fianlly, under no circumstances leave to go out of the city with any working chica you meet (unless she is indeed a non-pro and you have verified this and feel you can trust her).

Thanks Batman. More to the point. Is there any experience to suspect these pro-types (in El Pais) are setting you up for a heist. I have been to Colombia several times, mostly Cartagena, and found the social life easy to break into. My experience here in Cali is different. I don't go to the clubs. I don't know about the "resarvados", Maybe that is why I am missing the action here in Cali. Again, my Spanish is deficient.

Love tou hear your point of view - also I am plannning on taking 1 year off from working and head down to Colombia and live a life of sex and partying for 365 days - I always said it is a must do for me in life before dying - right next to a trio w/ Japanese twins! <grin>

Hermanos, Mustang is back in the USA. Cali couldn't take any more and asked me to give the chicas a rest. So here I am, wishing I was back there.

Living in Cali is fantastic. I had a side, USA, income every month to take care of "personal needs" and it was only about $150/month. After a few weeks you get used to the slow service and (unfortunately) the mouth-watering tight ass jeans. What a let down to come back.

I got serious with a couple babes, then broke it off. One chica, I was really hot for - in a more than an overnight perspective - but wanted a way to check her out without her knowing, like a PI or something.

Mustang was in Paradise, my brothers. I kid you not, hermanos, many were the times I turned down a date on a Friday night because my "cana gorda" was rubbed raw during the week and I said, what's the point .....

Would I go back, do another 1-year gig? If I could make even half of what I'm making now in Dallas, then absolutely. I'm there. Teaching, doing analysis, consulting with Uribe's staff, anything.

One problem: Mustang had so many ponies on the carousel, that eventually Cali became too small a city to ride unnoticed. But I miss that wonderful T&A capital. Nowhere are the tits bigger, or the asses rounder. Gotta stop now, I'm getting a woodie just writing about it.......

I've always wondered that if I had a place in Cali for a year, and lived there or spent long amounts of time... would I be noticed?

I mean, Cali is as safe as other places if you stay in town, keep a low profile, and have some street smarts. But if you are there long enough, how easy is it to stay 'below radar'?
