I just came back from Bogota, colombia after having lived there for the last two months. A couple of days before I left i went to the "Whiskeria 49" or "fortynine" as is known by the girls. This is located on the southwest corner of septima and 49th street.

This place had been recommended to me many times because of its reputation for fine strip shows, but also for the quality of young girls that go there... I wasn't dissapointed. I went on a thursday night around 10pm, the place was already hopping with a strip show going on downstairs and on the open catwalk up above.

I was sat down by an impatient waiter who pressure me to order a bottle of whisky, "hold on, I said let me check out the talent first" I said.

After a few minutes of looking at this late teens' looking girl, 5'6" about 110lbs big brown green eyes and light colored hair. from Guatavita. I motioned the waiter to bring her to the table, ordered up a bottle of Cali Viejo rum ($90,000 pesos)

Her name is Maritza, we sat around watched the strip shows, which happened about every twenty minutes, and danced cumbias the rest of the time. After seating with her for nearly an hour she ran me through the process of the "fortynine."

Normal rooms downstairs $50,000 pesos and the more expensive suites upstairs 120,000 pesos -including jacuzzi- plus whatever her and I negotiated for her time.

At first, my intention was not to do her because I thought she would ask for $$$ money, well, it turns out that what she asked for $110,000 pesos, which was very reasonnable. We went to a room downstairs for about 45 minutes of uninterrupted protected sex, she had a totally shaved beav, which kinda turned me off, but this girl had a tremendous body and enough enthusiasm to make the time worthwhile.

I would recommend "Whiskeria Fortynine" for the shows and if you like young girls this is the place to go. Otherwise, there are places in Chapinero which don't make you buy the obligatory bottle, and the atmosphere is a lot more relaxed.

If you decide to go be sure to specfy this place by name, "Whiskeria 49." Whiskeria is kind of a generic name for a bar (more of a neighborhood hangout) or a casa.
If you just say "whiskeria" you might end up someplace you do NOT want to be!

"Hombre," there's not a lot of postings on Bogota, I think the topic would be more readable if all the postings for now were put under "Bogota Discussion." Instead of "Bars" "Escort" "Strip Clubs."

Most of the time there's not much of a difference between these three type of services in Colombia.

You bring up a good point, it's actually one we ask ourselves a lot. With popular destinations, the subcategorization keeps everything very organized and specific. Less popular destinations would probably generate more discussion and be easier to read if the postings were consolidated to a single topic.

However, there are several counterpoints which have kept us from doing this thus far. The main one is consistency. We like to keep the organization the same in all the countries. We also intend to develop all these areas, we might consolidate only to re-categorize later. Finally, monitoring of the postings in the countries and the process of moving and organizing/reorganizing the topics take time which currently is focused on maintenance, support, and development.

We'll be debating the value of consolidating postings in less popular countries/cities. Thanks for the suggestion.

Whiskeria 49 in Chapineiro (near Calle 49 and Carrera 14) is definitely one of the better places in Bogota, Clean, good atmosphere, nice girls, many of them students. Beer is 3.500 Pesos (approx. 1,50 USD), Ladies drinks start at 7.000 Pesos, going upstairs with a girl around 50.000 Pesos (approx. USD 18.-). Unfortunately the owner is not willing to negociate the barfine - 50.000 Pesos. However, except Fridays and Saturdays, the girls may take a day off, so you can date her outside. Giving them a BFE (boyfriend experience) - invitation to theatre, travelling etc - will do it.

According to the business card I grabbed, the name of this bar is Taberna Marly.

As shown in previous posts, it's also known as "Whiskeria 49" and "49", I've also seen it referred to as "La 49" elsewhere.

It's on busy street of what looks like a semi-rough local neighborhood. I didn't feel too concerned, but I think I did receive some unusual looks like I was out of place.

The entrance is a small doorway with not much identifying the place, at least as far as I noticed. I think there was a small neon sign that said "Whiskeria" above the door, that was about it.

The first thing you'll notice is the waiters. To me they looked very out of place dressed in tuxedos, even more so considering the clientele.

This place seems to generally get good reviews, but I think Saturday night might be a bad time to visit...too crowded and pushy waiters wanting to hustle bottles of rum.

There are at least two rooms for on-site activities upstairs on the third level. I found a cute but chubby lady, but decided not to partake.

Opens 8pm. 16 chicas, none bonita.
