The Peso is no longer directly linked to the U.S. Dollar and has lost almost 1/3 of it's value today. Get ready for an influx of girls into the business to make money.

Yep...you are right..many, many women have kids to feed, not to mention some even take care of their whole entire family...so they will flock out of desperation to make money....since jobs are also a BIG problem. Some will first...start out as waitresses in Recoleta, then they will slowly convince themselves to post an ad on escorts-argentina....either way..whatever you do mongers...DO NOT pay in DOLLARS.....this will ruin it for everybody...do like RIO..and laugh it off and then say.."I'll pay in Pesos"...make sure it's still as before...150 pesos for 2-3 hours....even for the real gorgeous ones...

I learned that it was really important to break larger bills into smaller bills when you can. Many of the taxi drivers won't be able to give change, even some of the shops had difficulty breaking bills.

Remember this especially when dining in Recoleta as the busy restaurants should have no problem giving you change from your larger bills. Never use the singles you have to pay your tab there. Also break your bills when buying drinks at the bars.

I am all for supporting "the cause," but what is the problem in paying in dollars vs. pesos in the equivalent amount? i.e., giving a chica US$100 (which is 355 pesos) for TLN (which can include tip + taxi fare).

As long as the equivalent cost is the same, what's the problem? I certainly don't want to "hurt our market price," but not having to change dollars into pesos is easier for me.

In an ideal world there is no difference...but most of the chicas want more in dollars than in pesos....so the same chica who wants US$100 will, when told you only have pesos, ask for 300pesos rather than the exact equivalent...call it chicanomics....grin

Price of the peso is getting higher. Plane on high prices when pegger to the dollar.
