That's double the price for 2 hours instead of all night, in just 4 months, with no essential change in the exchange rate. That seems unbelievable. I thought of that same thing when I was in Help the other night and after anylizing the situation, I came to the conclusion you are pretty much fucked! Of course I didnīt try any of the emergency exits to see if they were even open, but it would be pretty difficult to imagine a sane evacuation in the event of a fire or panic or whatever. I probably would try to stay in a place out of the way and let the freaked out people trample themselves. I would say that Help is a lot better exit wise than some of the other discos I have been in in Centro Rio and Impanema.

Go out thru the kitchen, if there is an emergency. People will kill themselves trying to head out the front (natural tendency, to leave the way you came in).

When I was in Help in Jan the admission price was 17 reals before midnight and 23 reals after that. Someone told me it use to be cheaper but because it was the high season they jacked up the price. I figured by now the admission price would be down. Am I wrong about this?

$15R before midnight and $25R after. Do what most of the girls do. Buy your ticket at 11 when they open but then hang out and go in later if you want.

You still have to go in before 12, if you try to go in at 1am with a 15R ticket, they will stop you at the door and send you back to the ticket office.

The ratio at midnight in Help is 6 girls to 1 guy. But the asking price is $R250-$R300 and most likely will not budge that early, unless your just a stud.
