Gruta Azul is on Farrapos: Av Farrapos 1274. Olavo Bilax must be the cross-street. Any cabbie knows where it is. But it is NOT smack middle of the city, it's in the next district over, one where you certainly do not want to be walking at night - take a cab. Yeah, it's only 2-3 Km from downtown, but you have to go thru some of the worst parts of POA to get there. May as well save yourself the walking and slit your own throat in your hotel room. As you'll soon find out in your research, most of POA's "adult" nightclubs are on Av. Farrapos, but you don't want to walk around there by night, and it's just a run-down commercial zone (tire stores and the like) by day. There are hotels on Farrapos, but they are all fleabags - stay in the Centro. Cabs are cheap.

P.S. I 'll write more later, but Voluntarios da Patria (Volunta) streetwalkers are horrible. Don't go there, don't even bother. Wave at them on your way to the Farrapos clubs. And almost all other streetwalkers in POA are TV's, especially on Av. Getulio Vargas or in the Centro.

It's a one of the best night club's in all of Brasil. But, it also costs more than most!
The Garotas usually ask for BR$300. And to bar fine them out of the joint, you have to buy a bottle of wine that cost two year's ago BR$80.
But, they put on good shows. And the talent is top rate!

Egg-sactly. G.A. is incredibly expensive, on par or above W in Sao Paulo. Suffice to say that with entrance fee, drinks, bar fine, and girl, you can easily drop R$600+. Still worth going to, if just to look, but, as usual, the same girls can be found elsewhere with a bit of hunting. I'll give more details in my soon-to-come POA mini-report.

And to think I walked from Av. Farrapos to my hotel at Menino Deus through centro between 11 pm and 1 am Sunday. The worst part is the bus station under a two tiered street between Farrapos and centro.

I was in Porto Alegre, Brasil last week. When I was there, I visited a boate(boachi pronounced in English) named GrutAzul(blue cave). When I first walked into the place, it was unlike most I have been to in Brasil. It looked like it was an old theatre, with assending setting. I wasn't there for 5 minutes, just tasting my first beer, when I saw 2 beautiful "garotas" laughing and looking at me. I was obviously attracted to them, one with blonde hair and blue eyes, and the other with dark hair and green eyes. After buying a bucket of beers, which were way overpriced for Brasil, they started touching each other, and grabbing my hand and letting me feel all the best places, trying to get me to take them both back to the hotel with me. I do speak some Portuguese, but not really well, and I thought they wanted R$300 Reais(Brasilian Currency) for both, which is about standard, usually costing about R$100-$150 Reais each(3 Reais= 1 Dollar). What they wanted was US$300 for each, but they were beautiful. I talked them into US$300, and took them back to the hotel. After giving the receptionist their ID information, we went to the room and started doing what I paid for. I told them that I wanted them both once, and together as well, since they were kissing at the bar. They would not do each other, which was a disappointment, but the sex was good. The dark haired one offered to let me fuck her up the ass for an extra US$100, but I passed. I had had much better sex for much less in Brasil, but the difference was that these girls were probably the best 2 at a time I have had. It is always easy and pretty cheap to get 2 at a time in Brasil, but it is hard to find the ones that will do each other. I have been to about 20 different cities in Brasil, as well as traveled all over the world, but the best for the price I find are in Brasil. They are passionate. I have photos, and enjoy taking pictures of the girls I am with. Some let you take what you want, some don't at all, and most like to pose for something tasteful, but you get lucky sometimes, and you have a trophy to look back at when you are too old to do it any more.

ok.. I was here last night.

I got there about 8:30 and they kicked me out because it doesn't open until 9. I really liked this place. Reminded me of one of those high end strip clubs in Dallas that I used to frequent before I found out what it's like in the rest of the world.

There's a R$60 consummation/cover. They also have rooms on site for R$80 an hour, the price of the girl is up to negotiation. Let me tell you, there was some seriously fine ass talent in there. I got back in about 9:30 and was the only guy there. One interesting thing about this place is that most of the talent was whiter then me, and I'm a white ass white boy.

I got a few laughable quotes in the $700-800 range. I found this rather funny considering that I speak Portuguese at a pretty high level now, and they knew I was from Rio.

I finally met up with the gorgeous long haired blond. She was dancing on the stage and I had the waiter tell her to come over when she was done. She was just stunning. She came over after the dance and we really hit it off. Just a great personality, totally funny and flirty. She told me she was a model and was the "Garota de verao" in Playboy a few months ago and did some shoots for Oui. I certainly believed it.

Then it got interesting. I'm ready to close the deal and she quotes me R$500. Ouch.. I countered with "Sou tao feio assim?" (I'm that ugly?) Which totally cracked her up.. We settled on R$300 for 3 hours in my hotel. (Hotel Tryp by the way, pretty close to the action)

I'm not going to get into all the gory details, but this was by far, in my 2.5 years in brazil, and 32 years of my life, the best program, I'll even go as far as saying the best fuck I ever had. Her body was this perfectly sculpted piece of art. There was no hole un explored. No position left undone. 4.5 hours and 4 pops later I was fucking dead. R$75 CPL. Not to shabby. I was only in town one night so I’m glad I got some good action. Lots more left to explore.

Rode taxi to Gruta Azul. GA said it no longer pays for customers´ taxi ride to club. After I said I´ll go elsewhere then, GA took care of the taxi.

Cover 69 c/ 7 bebidas. During my 5hrs saw 40-50 gauchas, many looked like oklahoma hillbillies turned city hookers w/ unfit soft bodies, rough masculine faces. They didnt waste time (first 5 minutes) to ask ´let´s go up´. Most attractive one was a 7 but had a flat chest, begged for a Red Bull, wanted 300 hr + 69 room.

7-minute taxi ride back to centro was 25 fixed rate, 2.5x more than normal fare. Taxis turn off meter at a certain time at nite & charge whatever.

Zoner: Sounds like you and I may have similar tastes. I went to Gruta Azul with some of the guys, but really didn't like the place much. Didn't get turned on by very many of the girls, and didn't like what I was hearing from others were their starting prices. Seemed to me rather run of the mill, at least from the perspective of someone who spends a lot of time in Sao Paulo.

I've been in Gruta Azul 4-5 times when visitors came to town, and I never did a girl there. The quality is far below Carmen's on average, the prices are higher, and the service poorer. Some locals like to go there to play big spender, but I don't get it. You will see the occasional stunner in there, but those are the ones asking for and insisting on R$500. No thanks.

This is the only place I've checked out so far. I spent $R500 one night for an hour. A very hot busty blonde girl, but Rio has spoiled me. In the very nice cabine it was a covered BJ and during the session we had to stop to rest because she said "I'm tired!" Humph! I was doing most of the work.

She started at R500 and I talked her down to R250. When we were getting the room I was able to check out the sign in sheet. The cheapest girls were going for R200, but many were checking in at R300.

Also it was tricky getting there in a taxi on this particular Saturday night. Police had blocked off a large area apparently against drug dealers. I felt safe, but a little confused a few times.

The quality of good-looking girls seemed high compared to Rio, but I never worry that much about performance in Rio. In Porto Alegre I will in the future.

Thanks, Broman. In POA interviewing skills are far more important than they are in Rio. I don't know why, but a lot of the local guys seem to find CBJs acceptable (they will give glowing reviews to girl who wouldn't kiss and gave a CBJ, for instance). Fortunately, it's pretty easy to find girls who operate on the Rio standard, but you can't assume all will. Nowhere is this more true than at Gruta Azul, where the standard offering seems to be along the lines of what in Rio we call the RTF (Rio Tourist Fuck). GA is best avoided.

BTW, the neighborhood it's in--Floresta--is one of the higher crime areas in POA, so you're likely to see more police action there than almost anywhere else. Streetwalker central is just a couple of blocks away from GA, as is the main area for street drug sales.

I went Gruta Azul on Monday night. There were quite a good number of garotas available for early in the week. The quality was quite high. Many of the garotas here tend to be a little older. The admission is up to 100R which includes 6 beers. If you want to take a garota out of the club there is another 100R fee. They have onsite rooms, but I don´t know the cost.

I interviewed 2 garotas. They both were looking for the sucker price of 450R for short time in my hotel or onsite. I offered 250R (pretty much inline with local boards) and they both agreed right away. When I started to neg. services they both wanted to give me a CBJ. Neither would back down. I told both of them that I don´t pay the kind of money I offered along with an exit fee/room charge for a CBJ.

Things didn´t work out for me on this particular night. A total miss.

Three years ago, I had a wonderful session at Grut Azul. Don't remember the cost (it wasn't out of line), but I DO remember the garota. Her English was fluent, she was complete GFE, and looked mid-twenties but was very attractive in her early thirties. I wanted to see more of her, but was only in PA for two days (and it was my second night).... Had some e-mail contact, she almost came to Rio for New Years with me, but her American e-mail lover actually did fly down to meet her so he could divorce his wife and bring her back to Cleveland(!).
