Periplo is nothing so special, chica quality is similar to Cutty Sark, which I'd label as hit and miss.

IMO, the only attractions for this spot are

1) that it's an early spot, 6p-9p
2) it's close proximity to Av. Florida & Plaza
Plaza San Martin
3) Barbie, the bartender

I've never taken a girl out, so I'm not certain, but I don't believe there is any bar fine to be paid, rather it's all freelancers similar to say Orleans.

Barbara is the bartender at Periplo, working approximately 4p-3a on weekday nights. When I met her last year, she claimed that she only did work with clients when she was really attracted they guy (right!), and then she only is able to meet him after her shift.

Barbie said she was very new to the scene, which was obvious given both her behavior and her performance. For example, saying things like "I thought I'm always paid first" or "I was told to ask extra for all night", and she certainly didn't know a ton of tricks in the sack.

On the other hand, she's certainly not jaded or pro-like, and perfect if you like a 'fresher' girl. And if you like the young type, and if you like the petitte style, then check out this Christina Aguilera type girl:

I tried to find this place but couldnīt. Any tips? I walked right round the Marriot Plaza at 1005 Florida but couldnīt see it.

well, believe it or not, the easiest way would be to enter the marriott, go to the 2nd flr lobby men's restroom, then look out the window to locate the door. now that you've located it, it will be easier to find.

but by street, find av. m.t. de alvear which runs along the side of the marriott. periplo is midblock down from av. florida, and from the photo above appears to be 554 m.t. de alvear.

This place is still around. I almost walked in but when a guy was coming out I only saw several older ladies inside. One might have been ok looking but I decided to skip it. I did find out they were open on Sunday, so it might be worth a look since many other places are closed.
