The girlfriend and I went here once. We sat outside on the street and the GF said to be careful of our bags because some street kids might try to swipe them.

I think the GF wanted a calzone here and she speficially picked out this place to get it. I thought the food was average to good.

Hard to miss place right on the corner of Riobamba and Santa Fe. It was very close to my hotel, the Design Suites on Marcelo T de Alvear.

There is a photo of Babieca on santa fe, subtitled "finding a piece of the action" under the gay and lesbian section.(While I was flipping through my guide). I guess Time Out stats that this is a gay hangout.
