I only went to the Cinema Cafe once to have coffee and media lunas. Service was quick and responsive. They also had two internet terminals customers can use for free. I must have passed this place a hundred times while walking around BA. It is right on the corner of Santa Fe and Callao.
I don't recall if it was open 24 hours or not.

Good thing you didn't order anything other than coffee and medialunas....the food is mediocre, which should be a crime in Buenos Aires where even a modest cafe can turn out some excellent food....

This place has some dodgy characters outside at night. I once saw a guy begging at the doorway, pretty rough looking character, hitting up all who exited and entered, and kept his face squished up against the glass the whole time, eyeballing the customers, the first time I saw something like this since I left Brazil. Sante Fe in general starts getting seedy around Callao, heading toward downtown. Cuidaté!
