One of the best activities for meeting non-pros during the days is the shopping malls. There are two larger malls in Cali - ChipeChape in the north, and Unicentro in the south. Both are similar, with the same retailers, kiosks, cinemas, etc. We could not reach agreement which had better opportunity for meeting girls... both are good.

Mall Update
ChipeChape fills up with Calenas and mingling young folk starting around Six PM. Great place to make friends & good girl hookups. Several beer bars where people just hang out and chat etc... AND scenery that just can't be beat (girls).. some young, but many that just make you stop in your tracks!! Beautiful People !!!
BTW good food as well - went there every day.

The Newest Mall - Palmetto
A little North of ChipeChape, same kind of seneario but I liked ChipeChape more.

La Jardin - I did not go there, but one of my chica friend told me that was the best place for great food. Japanese, Italian, etc...

Construction at Chipachape. There are several apartment complexs in the area. You can walk to the bars on Avenida Sexta from Chipachape.
