I searched long and hard to find a quality wine store in Cali. I was looking for top end reds of Chilea and Argentina. Don't try Carrefour, you won't find them there.

Your real only choice is La Cava in Normandia (a convenient location, not far from the Hotel Intercontinental), at Avenida 4-Oeste # 1-108, 892-1319. Hours in July were 4p-1a.

We were able to purchase LaGarde (they had Cab '96, Crianza '97, Syrah ?, Malbec ?) from Argentina, and I remember Montes and Montes Alpha of Chile (with many others of Chile).

The staff is helpful, but be sure to ask if they've personally tried the bottle your discussing, and the prices are great.
