Vagao Palace – Cocktail – Others – Some of the smaller clubs have covers as little as R$5 but some only have 10-15 girls. It’s a very short walk between clubs and cheap enough that you could easily visit all of them for a short time without putting a major dent in your wallet. I tried 4 or 5 of the bigger clubs but didn’t find any gems, but you never know. It only takes 1 8 or 9 to make your excursion a success.

I went inside Vagao last night. They wanted 25 reals per beer to start, 15 reals thereafter. Very high but they had many many hotties. GIlrs in bikinis dancing on stages. They place was well lit and comfortable. Looked like a lot of Japanese businessmen were inside. They also had a live sex show with a guy/girl at about midnight.

Dont eat the peanuts unless you want to pay 10 reals for them--they will charge you.

Okay, I figured out how to save R$3 at Teatro Orion but I will keep it to myself.

I don't know which is funnier. DonGringo's sour grapes or somebody actually making a mental note, for their upcoming trip a few months from now, to actually not eat the peanuts.

Okay all you peanut freaks. Consider this....

1. we had 4 small bowls.. R$40.
2. They DO NOT DIGEST WELL (and thats all I will say about that)

Aren't peanuts supposed to help your nut's (I mean testicle's) produce more sperm? If so, then it's Reais well spent! (grin)

FYI, if you walk in and head straight to the bar, to the left of the dance floor/platform, your beer bought there only costs 15R plus 10% tip.

When you sit at a table, they charge you 10R (covert) per person. Which really seems like 10R per bowl of peanuts.

I usually plant myself at the bar, and the peanuts are included free. But I'm a regular customer when in town. sf4dfish

That explains it. I was a bit puzzled because last time I was there (before a visit with GCL and Coffee Maker), they did not charge for the peanuts (I was sitting at the bar). This time, when we sat at a table, we were charged for the peanuts (actually, as explained above, for sitting at the table). In all fairness, I didn't have much of a dinner that night, and ate a dinner's worth of peanuts so I guess things averaged out. But, they should disclose their pricing, when they first tell you there is no cover and give you the drink prices. It sounds like there is a cover, but only if you sit at a table.

As I recall gcl ate his share of the peanuts maybe three of the four bowls he talks about. No doubt he had trouble with digestion. Sorry gcl thats the way I remember it and I'm sticking to it

I checked out this place on Thursday night. Wow! I have to say this place has the most hottest women (and tons of them) that I have visited in SP yet. I was having trouble making selections....so many hotties to chose from. I had to fend off two sharks (one had a smoking hot body, but an ugly tree face, it was her first day in Vargao, yeah right, wink wink). I noticed the peanuts at the bar and had a laugh, no peanuts at the table by the way. The prices, however, but a damper on my enthusiasm. This place seems to charge you for everything. I was looking for the coin operated toilets after finding out all the fees they charge. I found it rather irritating. Just bad business. However, I was amazed at how many hot blondes there were in this place. I ended up with a hot little blonde schoolgirl named Gisele. A definite repeat place for me.

What did Gisele charge, and for how long? I've never taken anyone from Vargao, but have to agree with every aspect of your report, including the many hot blondes part.

Gisele started out at 250R, but I countered with 200R and taxi fare, she said okay. Still had to pay for one drink for her though. I am not sure if Vargao, Kilt and Cocktail are owned by all the same person (I wouldnīt think so), but Kilt got raided by the police Thursday night and was closed for having minor girls there. I found this out from a taxi driver. I was going to hit Kilt and Cocktail (since I didnīt make it there the night before) last night, but when I handed my address to the taxi driver he said it was closed. Now this is all from him, not verified by me. He said 10 police cars showed up around 3am and raided Kilt, found minor girls on the premises and shut it down. I donīt know if they arrested all the guys inside or not. I might have dodged a bullet there. It was open when I went into Vargao, around 10pm or so. I donīt know if Vargao and Cocktail were hit as well. This may be all bullshit from the taxi driver, but I believed him at the time.

Sorry, 200R plus taxi= two hours.

I have heard (more than once) that Vagao Plaza is owned by the same owner as Connection, Cafe Millenium and Bacos. I also heard they rotate girls between these clubs although I would find it hard to believe it is a complete rotation since the selections at each place seem a bit different.

This thing about Kilt is troubling if true. Normally I would think it might be a taxi driver making up a story to get a better commission (i.e. to take you somewhere that gives him more) but I believe Kilt is one of the places that taxi drivers want to go to for this reason.

Anyone out there with more info on what happened (if anything) at Kilt, etc.?

I was here late night (1am) on a weekday in November. Maybe 20 girls, most in the 4-6 range, nothing higher. Cover was 20R. Drinks were 15R beers, girls drinks were 35R. I had a beer, sat with a girl who had a tequila, and decided to leave. Still, the street cant be beat for the numer of clubs you can hit in a short amount of time (Kilt, Cocktail, My Love, Skorpio, Vargao).
