Where is a good travel agency in Copa area?
I have used BlameItOnRio once and was happy with it but others have comlained about it.
I know there is a Vasp booth in Rio Sul mall but there is no guarantee that they have cheapest fare on every route as I saw POA-RDJ advertised on TAM for R$200 one way.

I love TAM..flew them once and they were super nice people and for only a 45 minute flight they served a nice lunch...they have an office one block off the beach ..cant remember the name of the hotel it is behind..turn left outside the rio roiss and then 3/4 blocks...

Fly GOL. There prices are usually 20 - 25 percent lower then TAM or Varig. Altough, TAM is a great airline for service.

I have used Solang at All Ways Travel in Sao Paulo several times. I have done reservations by e-mail with her. You might try her for Brazilian travel.

Her e-mail is allways@uol.com.br

I have never had any phony charges from this place either.

Tru using SDU (Santo Dumont - Rio downtown airport) to CGH (Congohas - Sao Paulo downtown airport). You can get there by cab quicker is both cities, and your cab fare will be lower.

For flights between Rio and Sao Paulo, I find that using the downtown airports to be much easier.

Last July my flight home left from GIG, but I was in Sao Paulo. I took a TAM flight from CGH to GIG. TAM is the only airline with flightw between CGH and GIG.

Have any of you heard of and/or done business with an agency called Rio Charm (www.riocharm.com)? I'm currently working on making arrangements for a trip to Salvador and Morro de Sao Paulo during my upcoming trip to Rio and want to make sure not to get involved with any agencies that aren't reputable. I'd definitely appreciate any information that you could provide me about this and other agencies that arrange affordable air and hotel/pousada packages.
