It serves all you boys right for having the bad sense to fall in love in a club on Copa where everyboby and his brother will be seeing your lovely and smacking their lips. Smartass! Good advice Artist. I am not sure if you are aware of it, but I think we have met twice. First time at Alcazar, you coming from the beach with your board leaving in a hurry for a terma round I believe. Second time outside the cabinas at MC discussing viagra and popping. You guys need to keep your trash talk here in this thread, no talk about wifes is allowed in other threads.

When the trash/wife talk moves into other threads it stifles all intelligent conversation from going on because many people are offended by your trash talk. Because of your trash talk, you have eliminated all intelligent conversation about Rio on this board. Other people have stopped posting and I've definitely stopped commenting on other peoples posts.

I think we all would be better off if this "I'm doing your wife/you're doing my wife stupid" conversation was moved to email.

This is such a great forum to exchange information . You all have so many insights about Rio ; it would be great to hear anything about your experiences in Rio - instead you post this shit that makes the rest of us think that we hope that you stay in jail for the rest of your life.

This board really is a great chance for us all to share information about Rio and other places. why can't you guys use it as opposed to abuse it?

I understand your concerns and I highly respect your contributions here. Without them, it is possible I would not have made my first trip to Rio.

But, as a frequent contributor to this site I have to say that I politely disagree. Every chance I get, I wholeheartedly answer any question that anyone has if I have the ability to provide useful knowledge. There’s only so much we can say about the 5 termas, 4 nightclubs, street scene and escort agencies. The only real new information is updates on the talent level, prices and exchange rates. The rest is playful banter among men that share a common interest. I haven’t seen a slow down in posts here at all. In fact, I’m personally responsible for at least 15-20 new members in the last 5 weeks.

This is my “haunt” and I would really hate to see this turn into the disorganized WSA/TSM slam-fest/retard-question-center/tour-guide-advertisement-service. I don’t see that happening here. We don’t flame each other. I just see a knowledgeable bunch of people sharing information with the occasional good natured jab.

I will try to respect your wishes, and keep my “trash talk” here. But again, until hombre informs me otherwise, I’m going to keep “playing” with my friends.

I’m not quite sure about the free speech angle. This is a privately owned, paid subscription message board. The free speech angle might work on a street corner, but essentially we are playing by Hombre’s rules. If he say’s to cut it out, then we must.

As much as anyone I want to uphold the quality of the board and I'm willing to listen to any suggestions to that end.

My only interest is that our little Rio section continue to be great place to exchange info about a place that we all are nuts about. I just think that we all need to be careful about what we say in order to keep it that way. So how is the wife doing anyway?

Some of the posts I'll probably eventually remove if they're not usable information. This won't be in the near future because I'm too busy working on content, development, and saving money to hire a full-time assistant.

When people ask, I generally refer to this section of the site as "The Encyclopedia". It's relatively well organized and broken down by topic.

There is another section of the site called Chat, specifically South America Chat in this case, which is generally used for chit-chat and information that is not of lasting value. You can get to that section by clicking "Chat" in the top left corner. (then S.America if you didn't choose South America as your primary interest when you signed up)

Of course, this is just a guideline and you guys are free to post whereever you see fit. I enjoy the activity either way.

Dood - i have to disagree with ya on one very important point & that is the termas, night clubs have been over discussed so there is nothing to be added in that area ( I know I'm oversimplifying a bit here). Posting ones initial impressions about a place can lead to alot of great conversation - we all see things somewhat differently. And we all learn new stuff when this happens. I've personally posted all sorts of initial impressions posts so I really don't think that I have any new information to add in this area but you do. if you had a descriptive post about why termas A was your favorite or your thoughts about Franks or whatever, it would all lead to great discussion.

BTW - which 5 termas are you talking about?

She told me she had stayed about 1 year in Spain with an older ‘wealthy’ man before returning to Rio. Spoke quite good English too. Did she tell you the same?

Habana-- No, she told me she danced 1 year in Mexico, and went to Hong Cong for acouple of months with a wealthy oriental guy but never mentioned Spain. Are yo sure you got the right girl? She spoke very little english, she gave me the phone no. of her guy friend and told meto call him if i wanted to tell her anything if we couldn`t communicate to each oyher.

Habana-- Looks like we have a story teller , i am pretty sure i ask her about Europe buti can`t remmember her answer , my best recollection is she said she was nevver there, but her sister is married to a guy and living in Europe. You guys talking about falling in love are right.It's easy to in Brazil. I just got back from my first trip there and if it wasn't for my guide Scott I would have fallen into the same trap. From what he explained to me these girls have several americans waiting to marry them and each one sending money from the US to keep her off the street. But every night she is out again. I'm sure I could have done the trip cheaper without using Scott but his advice on everything kept me out of trouble.
