The action in Buenos Aires is mostly at night except for escorts and places like Cafe Orleans (ask a cab driver to take you to San Martin y Cordoba - should be about 4 pesos fare from Recoleta). Starting at about 10:30PM, you can find a lot of action in Recoleta area. Places to check out are Playwomen and Solid Gold (next to each other). Sodoma is around the corner. Also, you may have some luck at Newport Club 1 block away, especially with free lancers after 11:30PM (no barfine). There are also Password and Affaire only 1 block away (small cover charge) from Newport -- hit or miss there, but worth checking out if nothing else appeals.

At 2AM, a club called Crocodillio opens in Recoleta. These places are usually hopping until 4 or 5AM. The typical short time barfine is to buy two drinks for the lady. If you don't want to sit and buy her the drinks, you can just pay the fee. Prices vary from 8 to 20 pesos per drink depending on the club. TLN barfine is usually 5 drinks (but you are better off just paying the 2 drink one and then extending the time).

Collect a few phone numbers and you won't need the escort agencies at all. Escort Argentina are all pretty good looking girls, but will want $100US short time and probably $200US for all night. Platynum girls will probably settle for 150 to 200 pesos short time.

300 pesos should get you just about any girl TLN.

Read Moondog's Guide to BA and Sakebomb's onsite notes about BA for more detail. Moondog's even has a map which you can print at any internet cafe.

Buenos Aires has a different feel and pace than Rio. I think you will be pleasantly surprised if you give it one night to party, but things only start at 10:30PM and won't end until 6AM or later. Collect a few phone numbers and you won't need the escort sites.

Don't go to a club called Tributo as it's a dump and every taxi would recommend you so he can get a cut. As far as escorts actions, I only tried two chicks from Platynum. Dayara was 100pesos for 2hrs. Lorena was gorgeous, 100usd for 4hrs, but she's a Braz. The 3rd one, Lucynella, we called from Playtynum was huge so we sent her and her friend home.
