I spent some time in Puerto La Cruz. There used to be lots of open air bars on Paseo Colon where you could pick hookers up but they knocked all the bars on the beach side down. This hasn't done the place any favors really. There are still a few bars where girls look for punters, e.g., Piccolo Cafe. There is a bar pretty close to Paseo Colon called Eclipse which is a disco fuul of hookers. There is a full range of girls and something to suit every taste. One girl called Maria, who isn't particularly attractive but has big tits, is recommended as she is pretty good. There are a few chancers as usual but most of the girls are pretty decent and will give you a good time - they know how to enjoy themselves.

Each girl has to have had bought for hr 6 drinks and then they can leave with you. They usually take you to a hotel nearby, e.g., Mi Hotel, which are pretty basic but OK for what you want to do. Most will stay all night with you. Alternatively you can take them back to your hotel although some hotels are pretty choosy on who you take into your room.

Prices range from $50 to as much as they can get out of you.

If you want to go and look at lots of beautiful girls, have a stroll round Plaza Mayor, a shopping mall about 3km from PLC centre. A visit to the beach is also well worth it - loads of beaches near PLC. Try the discos too - there was one in El Morro called Bajas which is full of fantastic looking girls - not many hookers but loads of young Ven girls who are gagging for it.

The economy of Venezuela is in a bit of a mess at the minute and the currency, the Bolivar, is very weak. Well worth a visit now to take advantage of the weak currency before inflation wipes out all the benefits.

Venezuela is a beautiful country and the people are very friendly - once you get out of the cities. The beer, Polar, is pretty good too and costs a few cents a bottle if you buy a crate of 36. Only problem is that nobody much speaks English.

Palmares - I met a girl in Fort Lauderdale that lives in Puerto la Cruz - I met her while she was visiting family - anyway she is relly drop dead gorgeous and has invited me plenty of times to go and visit her in PLC. Could you tell me on the info as to get to Venezuela - did you have to fly into Caracas and then take another plane to PLC? How did this work - I trust I will probably spend all my time with her - which is fine by me as she is a very bautiful chic. However, if I can sneak a working chic and get away with it, I will. Please tell me all you can about what I can expect travelling there - and places to stay taht would not hassle me for chicas or even worse - not let my main girl in. I will be targeting Thanksgiving week. I am very fluent in Spanish.

Right... like between Cali and Rio (and what about Medellin... or Cartegena for the November pagent?) you have any time to do something new (like PLC)! ;-)

I was thinking more of a quick weekend getaway to venezuela (PLC) before my Colombia fever kicks in November - hehe...what can I say - I cannot get enough of South America.

As if you wouldn't quick-weekend-getaway-it to Colombia first... before even considering Venezuela ;-)

Yeah, the update is I am going back this month, but with a business associate, so probably no mongering opportunities.
