I have to go for a few day to Pereira Colombia. Any good tips to get some girls??

I have never been to Pereira, but when I was in Colombia I met a man who goes there frequently for chicas and he made it sound like a monger's paradise. He said he would pick up hot chicas almost anywhere including the hotel lobbies, spend the night with them, and give them $50 in the morning as a gift. Please report to us you activities there.

$50?!? No wonder he thought it was paradise! You can have almost ANY girl in Colombia for that! For Pereira I would say that is 3 times the going rate.

huh...Bucxaramanga is one of the hottest spots for women..i have sisited Catrtagena, Baranquilla, Cali and Bogita....but man there is something to be said on how women just fight each other for your attention in Bucaramanga..not to say that they have the best "bottoms" i have ever seen...

I hate to think that people who didn't know better relied on his info. He also tried a real estate scam in Cali - the WRONG place to pull such a stunt.

Within this thread are many requests for info on Pereira. I went there last December and recently posted a trip report. Not the most comprehensive but has some information that hopefully can be built upon. Please check it out and let me know if I can answer any additional questions. Wow pereira sounds really good to me considering my self a rookie monger, i was in barranquilla and spend most of my time with non-pro girls. Im planning my next trip to colombia on Dec and i have to try prereira.

It has been a number of years since I have been to Pereira, so I'm not sure if the places are still in existence. But, there were a number of bars a few blocks from the main square that were kind of like strip clubs. But, they were like no other strip/dance club I had seen.

You enter and there are like 6 to 10 small bars inside the place. The bars only serve beer, but the bartenders are all chicks. You sit there drink a beer and the bartenders will dance for you. I recall one of the bars would put baby oil on the bar, and the chick would get on the bar and slide/dance on the bar.

I took a girl out from one of these. 20K COP Multa. 100K for the nite. She ended staying with me for 2 more nights as well and even cried when I left the airport. Cost me 100K, plus a shirt from Studio F, and some food.

Just got back from an 8 day trip to Medellin and I squeezed in a quickie to Periera. It is pronounced (pah-DAY-dah) for those who need to know. If you try to say it the way it is spell they look at you funny. I flew over there on Aire Airlines for $150 round trip from downtown Medellin. I loved the city. It was clean and charming. In the morning all the old men sit out in the open air cafe bars sipping espresso. Not much action till late at night.

I found a strip club called Flores Frescas and pulled three babes out of there. One I did on premise. She looked like a model. The other two I brought back to the hotel and they rocked my world. I am working on a trip report which I will post shortly.

So is it better to reach Pereira from Medellin or Cali? Some guys are going by bus from Cali but on a map it looks closer to Mde. I'd like to check out this city and I'm going to be in both Mde and Cali this summer.

Tbirdjoy, when we were in MDE, my galfriend took the bus to pereria and I believe she said it took about 4 hours. They had frequent departures from MDE. IMO, I would NOT travel outside of Cali on bus if you are a non-local. Still dangerous outside Cali.

I rode the bus from MDE to Manizales-about 4 hours. Manizales to Pereira was about 2 hours. Pereira to Armenia was around 1.5 hours. Then Armenia to CLO was around 2.5 hours. These times are not exact.

It is more safe travelling from MDE.

I am going to Pereira 10/24-29. . . anyone know of a chica-friendly hotel? Something nice is preferrable and under 200K. . . .

Looks quality low, overpriced, room costs extra. My guess is pereiranas (& manizalitas) bonitas go to bog, clo, ctg for work. Like mzl slow during the week, limited selection, cbj. City has green Megabus (similar to bog's tranmilenio) w/ 3 rutas.

Modelos Club. C30 7-25. 2 unattractive chicas on premise. Shown photo album of more prepagos. One looked ok. When asked when photos were shot he said 2 wks ago (yeah right). He said she's vip so it would cost more: 80k 30m. He phoned her, said she'll be here in 15min. Waited 1hr for her to arrive. She didnt look anything like her pics. Paid her taxi fare 6k & left.
