has anybody been there? is it true you can get a sweet girl for $11USD?

This is an off the beaten path destination - I tried to open this topic up a few months ago and found very little information. I did notice that you must provide even a bank statemnet to the Paraguay consulate to obtain a visa - which can only be obtained in D.C

Obviously the govt of Paraguay isn't very interested in tourism.....

I just read in Lonely Planet that USA does NOT need a visa for tourist visits up to 3 months.

For some reason, Canadians need a spotless police record, bank statement, and a $10 fee.

I will start by saying I have not been to Asuncion yet, but it is one of the mongering destinations on my short list, due to the fact it is still largely unexplored by a lot of mongers. A friend of mine visits there regularly, and says it is still common to get a girl between 10 to 15 US on the low end, and using one of the high end agencies to pay as much as 150 for all day. Will be going to Paraguay for first time in a few weeks. It costs US$65 for visa and is good for 90 days. Got Visa same day in Miami. I'm new to board.

I went to Asuncion in June 2003. First, you do need a visa, but like everything else in Paraguay, the rules are contradictory and bureaucratic. Paraguay is not like normal tourist destinations. So the $65 fee is the one the consulate in L.A. will charge you (same-day service, but I got mine in Bolivia for $50. I brought a bank statement with me, but they said they didn't need it. They also claimed that the form I downloaded in the U.S. was outdated.

Anyway, if you take a cab driver around the downtown area, particularly the historic parks, you will see a lot of chicas on the street after 11 pm. There are also clubs with names like Platynum. Because Paraguay has so few tourists, the chicas are significantly less expensive than other S.A. countries, so the gorgeous streetwalker will go with you for $20. I didn't make it to any of the clubs.

Asuncion is relatively safe, but don't consider that an invitation to walk around by yourself. There are bad neighborhoods and you won't know which is which.

Ok, I have been in Asuncion and yes you can get some good pussy for US$ 20 starting there and up...still there is a lot of good material to pick from.
What I didnt like is that most of the places like stripclubs really suck, most of them are like old houses where you have to knock the door to get in, and they look inside like cheap sh..t
Howeever once inside there if you are willing to spend 100 bucks...man you are the king.
Also is good to tell that most of the woman in PAraguay have really goodlooking bodies.
