Hello everyone, I have learned alot reading all of your experiences while traveling to Argentina. I plan on making my very own trip in a few months. However I need to ask everyone whats the chance of me coming across racism while i'm down there. Me being a 23 year old black male. I'd appreciate your comments.

I'm 36 yr old black male. I have faced more racism in the Dominican Republic(Going there four years now) than BA. People here are buiness first. They need the money bad. The competition for buiness(Food, girls, clubs, etc.) is too hard for them to worry about your skin color. I have been coming to BA for one year now and have not had a problem

I'm not sure what I can say about racism, but the one thing I can tell you is that Argentina is probably the WHITEST country I've ever visited in the world.
I've lived in Buenos Aires, a city of over 11mn people, for more than a month now and have only actually seen 3 brothas (and one of them was American). There's hardly even any BROWN people here.
Like I said, it's hard for me to say if you'll experience any racism (because I haven't seen enough brothas here to find out) but I wouldn't be surprised. And the predominantly Italian/Spanish population probably isn't best known for their liberal views of racial equality.
Bottom line is, haven't seen any racism here, but it wouldn't surprise me at all. But be prepared to be the only brotha you see all day.
If it's an issue for you, go to Brazil. They're racist there, but only in a subtle, socio-economic way, and at least everyone there is a "shade of brown" so you'll fit in no problem.
