Do any of the "waitresses" here leave with customers? I didn't like the feel of this bar too much, in fact I felt a little bit of the "ficha" pressure that I'm used to in Tijuana. (Fichas are drink tickets that girls get when you buy them drinks which they turn in for cash) Anyways, I'm sure I spotted slight signals from bartenders to girls for them to finish their drinks so I would buy them another. I also had a bartender ask me to buy a drink for herself.

The ratio of waitresses to working girls also seemed high. I enjoyed Playwoman a lot more which is a 15 second walk to the right of this place.

I agree..I enjoyed Playwoman more..and found myself there 3 nights in a row..the answer is NO, the waitresses do not leave with any of the customers..that is unless you can convince her to meet you outside of work if the price is right. i.e. I really liked this really hot waitress at Solid Gold. She told me 2x that she does not leave with customers..well..she was so hot that I told her I would be in town and gave her my hotel business card with my room numebr. I told her that if she called there would be no strings attached, and we can just hang out at a couple of the dance clubs..this of course finally happened on a Tuesday night that she was off..she decided to take me up on my offer. After about 3 hours into our drinking and partying..she found a girl she liked in the club and they both came to my hotel for some really great sex; mind you I had no idea this would happen YMMV..total cost: 74USD for drinks..girls free...LOVE THIS COUNTRY!!!

I'm going to get a cell and give out my number next trip. That "let's hang out" sounds like a good approach, but if we go out I have this feeling I'll be unable to keep my attention focused on the girl I'm with when there are so many hot girls around.

Hit Solid gold on my second night...much smaller than Madeho's with an equally uninspiring cast. Sat around BSing with watress, bartender and couple customers. Ended up wanting to take out one of the waitresses....cute little number...but apparently the bar fine was an issue...wanted 2 drinks per hour...had bought her 2 just because. Anyway she started at $P350/hr and we worked down to $P100/hr for 3 hours then ran into bs about bar fine...Finally told the bartender (great looking gal with good english) that this was becoming work. Anyway flipped the little cutie a $P100 and bailed (she actually spent alot of time argueing with boss...or so it seemed) Anyway pulled another nice one from Newport ($P200 this time TLN) and didn't give it another thought.

I would be very careful in this club with your money. The first time I went to Brazil in Feb 01, the only place that I used my American Express card was here to purchase drinks. Within 3 or 4 days, I had $3000+ of unaurthorized charges on the card.

Last week I was in BA, and got some updates from a couple of girls that used to work there. These items are:

1. If you drink too much, this club will ad extra charges too the tab,
2. The bar owner does not give the girls all of the commissions that they are entitled to.

As an overall warning, I would just stay away from this place.

Opens around 10pm, but doesn't get busy with gils till around 11.30/12am. Entrance is 25 pesos which includes 2 "national drinks", they will charge you more for branded spirits etc.
The club is on 2 levels, with a small dance area as yo enter the club, with small seating areas to the left and right, and then the bar further to the right hand side of the club.
The decor isn't as plush as some of the better clubs in BA, but is nice enough. upstairs you can look down on the small dancefloor downstairs, and there is much more seating.
Its not a bad set up, but possiby the standard of women lets it down. The standard was ok, with the odd nice looking girl, but i didn't notice any girls with enhancements.

Thanks for the club updates. Every night there is change in these clubs, and when one club is really good one night, it may be a total bust the next.

Solid Gold is a sleeper place. I have taken out several girls from there. I have been to BA several times just to spend time with a lady I met there. DO NOT underrate this place. There are good days, and bad days here, but overall it is a great place.

I have had luck here also, my last 2 trips!! got a paraguayita spinner 1 nite for 200 ar tln she was new only 2 weeks and i think needed the cash plus she was muy flaquits less than an A up top but was very good in bed great attitude!! Also a girl from(blonde tall nice c's) Salta 300 ar for tln liked that i was American (yeah !!) also performed well said she didn't work there every nite !! Solid had a wide range of girls, looks wise, age wise, and price wise, So its a buyers market lol !! FUNTIME
