Being a diehard Buckey alum and football fan, I hope someone can help me. I will be in BA on Friday for more than a week, and this Saturday is a very big game. Is there anywhere to watch american college football in BA? Pay per view? Does Hooters show them? How about the sports bar near the Etoile? Help please! I may have to listen to a live internet broadcast if all else fails, but I would much rather hoist a few beers in a sports bar.
Thanks,
EZE

I do not follow college football, but most bars have direct tv. If it is a national broadcast game I bet you can pick it up. Try Henry J bean(Recoleta) they have been good at puting the tv on the channel I want. The world sports cafe next door may have it also, but if there is a soccer game somewhere in the world for them to watch-forget about it. You might also try the kilkenny bar(wrong spelling?) an Irish pub. Hooters has cable also. I missed my football fix last time because there was a soccer game on and no one would change the channel for love or money.

Pirate, unfortunately you are probably right about the game, but if I DON'T watch or at least listen, the Buckeyes DEFINITELY lose (not that I'm superstitious or anything). I'm going to try Henry Bean's and Hooters, and if that fails Plan B is to return to the hotel and order some precious metal (platynum), and listen on the internet while I "relax".
Thanks David1967, Henry's was the sports bar I was thinking of, but I couldn't remember the name.
