I recently stayed at the Hyatt, in Marginal Pinheros, about five blocks from the Morumbi Shopping center.

I had a earned some free nights in their “stay two earn one” promotion (runs until end of Feb I believe, free nights valid until end of Apr). I actually took the free transfer bus from GRU to CGH and taxi from their as this added maybe only 10-15 minutes but saved me over 50R I figure. The Hyatt is spectacular... only one year old... they treated me great and gave me the premium (Hyatt Gold Passport program) room class with bathrobes and the works. Only complaint is it is somewhat removed from about anyplace you’ll want to go, and not in a neighborhood-feeling type area (more a business area, and separated from anything at that). I have no idea what a room there might cost. I sampled nothing else that the hotel offers other than my room (oh, high speed internet worked good).
