Try Alcazar (restaurant on Av. Atlantica next to the Hotel Debret) 1 or 2 p.m. daily. However most of us are completely socially inept and uncool, so don't expect much.

agree with you sf,but i think you forgot to mention after 3 beer houndred of thousands years of evolution goes through the window an we are back at grunting and pointing,at things we want.

Iggy: for me the regression occurs without alcohol. All I have to do is see a hot garota. And my regression then is a very short trip, not hundreds of thousands of years, since I've never been very evolved anyhow. Before I learned any Portuguese, grunting and pointing worked just fine in the termas. Think "Mongo" in "Blazing Saddles".

does one have to pay US$ 250 per week to be part of this crowd?
Or is there a parallel table of independent guys who don't want to pay a tourist guide?
By the way, I live 1 block from Alcazar, maybe I stop by one day. But hell, I don't go to termas so I am not the right person for this anyway
