I will be in Rio from April 1st thru the 6th. When I booked my tickets I did not remember that this is Easter time. Will the scene be totally dead or will I still be able to have fun?

You should be able to have fun, I will be there about the same time, I arrive Friday morning 4/2 with a newbie buddy for a week and will leave a week later on the Saturday, 4/10. Easter is the weekend of 4/9, I do not know how things will be the rest of the week.

I'd expect that the Terma's will not be badly affected by the crackdown. Remember there were 2 objectives, get underage girls out of the business and close all the terma's operating without a permit. The reports show the crackdown also focused on Copa as that's where the residents were complaining the most. Big established Terma's like these would not be affected unless they had failed to get their paperwork in order.
