It is a show where the garotas (otherwise known as girls) dance on a platform. Hence, "Platforma Girls".

It is a standard variety show with a healthy dose of samba. It plays at the Plataforma (one of the theaters famous for this type of show in Rio, the other being the Scala). The girls are regular girls, not providers. The show has its ups and downs, but when it is good, it is quite memorable.
And no, I never tried.
