ANGAMOS ESTE bano sauna close to Miraflores. Another taxi ride costed 5 soles, but this ride was twice the distance and time as the previous ride. Este means east and the divider between east and west was the expressway called Via Expresa. Angamos is a principal street full of traffic and loads of citizens were on the street waiting for buses. Did not see a single blanco (white), which was a little scary. A couple of locals looked my way without staring. Went in and straight to the elevator to my right. Couple of men at the busy reception desk stared at me without saying anything.

On the 8th floor, a hallway ran right-to-left and to the right were a desk and an unfriendly girl behind it. I asked the price. She replied, did you telephone? I said no and asked the price again. She asked, are you sure you did not telephone? I said no. She said, 20 soles for half-hour of massage and 20 soles for half-hour of sauna. I stopped to think. Twenty soles were less than $6. Hallway and door to the interior indicated that inside may be fairly large and may hold a real sauna unlike the previous place. Their business card promises 'loving attention', absolute privacy, and 'total relaxation'. How can I go wrong here? You enter the hotel (you can't miss it – there's a big neon sign on the roof) and take the elevator to the 9th floor. After telling the receptionist that you want a sauna and massage, you lock away your valuables and change into a towel.

These facilities weren't as nice as the Banos Turkos Windsor, but the admission was only $6, and steam is steam. So I steam, sauna, and rest, and then I announce to the receptionist that I'm ready for my massage. She sends me into a waiting room, and calls for the chicas.

It was early in the morning, so only two girls come out. They're both pretty, in their mid 20s, and wearing identical black jumpsuits, zippered down far enough so that I can see the red push-up bras doing their thing – pushing up.

I choose one of the girls (sorry, names are a blur), and we go into a semi-private massage area. It was nice and clean, but the walls do not go to the top. I worry a little, but I figure what the hell, there's no one else there at 10:30 in the morning. If she doesn't mind, neither will I.

As of September 6, 2004, there hasnīt been much change at this place from whatīs posted by others on this board.

They charged me 20 NS for the sauna and 20 NS for the massage. You still have to "roll the dice" on the girl since you get whoīs available. I guess I lucked out since she was busty and not too bad looking. She wouldnīt have been my first selection, but I donīt know who else was available. The receptionist/cashier also asked if I had made an appointment. They apparently donīt like walk-in traffic.

The massage was so-so. For FS, she wanted an extra US$50. She didnīt want NS$. The FS session is done in a private bedroom with a real bed, not on a massage table.

Overall, an average session.

The only change of information on this place that Iīd like to correct is that the receptionist/cashier is on the 9th floor. Thatīs where you change out of your clothes, lock your clothes and belongings. You then walk downstairs to the 8th floor for the sauna and massage. After the sauna and massage, you walk back up to the 9th floor to pay the receptionist/cashier the money for the FS. (Interestingly, you donīt pay the girl directly.) She then takes you back downstairs to a private bedroom. Afterwards, you go back upstairs and pay for the sauna and massage = 40 NS.

A word of advice. . . from my experience here, no English is spoken. I speak survival Spanish and even that is questionable. If you donīt speak any Spanish, but youīre adventurous, go for it. Youīll stumble along just fine with the information given on this board.

Hotel Los Andes Spa - Angamos Oeste 833, a couple blocks east of Paseo de la Republica: The budget Hotel Los Andes houses the only 24 hour P4P option I'm aware of in Lima. Simply walk in and take the elevator to the right to the eighth floor. Your 20 soles cover covers unlimited use of the sauna, but you're more likely there for the massage. When you're ready you can make a request at the reception desk to see the masajistas. You'll be led to a small room where up to six or so ladies will enter. Choose the best looking one and you'll be all set. Prices for the additional services are negotiable but should be reasonable. Unlike most places where massage is offered, you can opt to take your act to one of the hotel rooms with a bed.

RT here. I paid here with a credit card last week, and it was no problem at all. Admission was NS20 and massages are 20 Soles per minute (in 20 minute increments).
